Goth Girls of Lit

Okay, fine...I'm outnumbered...I'll just listen to my David Gahan and concede.

Well, on the bright side it's depressing music. My cd player just switched to Pam Tillis.

'did you really think last night would last forever
did you really think that guy hung the moon
right now you hate yourself cause you know better
but their's no use crying over spilled perfume'

Okay it's been awhile since I've done this...I used to have it down to an art form...

Great pic, and an even better av

So do I. LOL Truthfully she's my favorite singer - I love her voice. My favorite group, though, is Heart. My favorite song is by Bonnie Tyler. I've got very eclectic tastes in music.

So three female voiced acts with similar melodic structures is eclectic? My musical tastes must be positively psychotic by comparison then.

Oddly enough, I was digging on a T.Raumschmiere/Dave Gahan song earlier.

Eclectic because the next CD that will be played will be ACDC. I love them. I also love Bon Jovi and some Metallica, and Garth Brooks, and Pat Benatar, and . . . I love most groups. LOL Me and K's 'song' is Tesla, we also love Kansas and Lynard Skynard, and Testament and and and. Other than rap their is very very little I don't listen to.

ETA: I probably like the women I like cause I can sing them! LOL It just occured to me, but I can sing all of their stuff. Well, most. I struggle a bit with some of Hearts stuff - it drops down too low for me. I think in a past life I was an opera singer. LOL

It's really beautiful...you're really beautiful. The black and white is perfect.

I've been on an Ani D. kick lately. *shrug* Not goth in the least, but folk-punk.

Okay, you had me wondering.

My recent play list:

Messer Chups "Everyone Over the 30"
English Beat "Get a Job/Stand Down Margaret!"
Within Temptation "Grace"
Combichrist "This shit will fuck you up"
Louis Armstrong "Stardust"
everclear "So Much for the Afterglow"
Public Enemy "Hazy shade of Criminal"
Battlefield Band "24th Guards Brigade at Anzio"

I "heart: shuffle.

Most times I love shuffle. I've made up tons of cds that are just a mishmash of different stuff. Whatever struck my fancy, cause normally I don't want to listen to one specific type of music. Tonight I'm in the mood for country.

My goth baby....

Sorry, Etoile, I clicked on one of the links you provided and got a sh*tload of pop-ups that were a real pain to close.

*back to listening to Joy Division*

Are you sure you don't have spyware or a virus? I have never gotten any pop-ups from those sites. Do you have any kind of pop-up blocker at all?

Actually, got only two, but it's so unusual that it seemed like a whole lot more.
Pop-up blocker in full mode, Zone alarm protected and so on.
Nothing to worry about, really.

Oh My ! **Cracks open a new bottle of the "Blood red wine**

Beautiful....in the second pic I got that "if looks could kill" feeling

*shivers*

LOL, she has left me to play on her PC and told me there are plenty of pics of her new bedroom additions etc., but damned if I can find them so these couple of old faves will have to do for now.

Great look.

Thanks guys. My ego needed the uplift this morning! :rose:

I finally stepped behind the curtain and put my face on my AV...wouldn't have even dreamed of it when I first joined...what a few months of feeling welcomed will do!

Always enjoy seeing your photos of your gorgeous daughter.

I have been putting Gahan's newest on heavy rotation. I love Saw Something.

ok so see, this is my question. Your lovely sweetie here, Catalina, is very much a goth baby as we can all plainly see. However is is also very plainly visible she does not employ the over-use of heavy eye make-up and powdery white foundation. It seems, from what I've seen here, she is a very fresh faced girl with little to no make-up. Which brings me to my question: since this is obviously her 'look' yet she is still very much 'goth' in appearance, how come everyone (not just here) keeps telling me my eye make-up needs to be darker in order to 'pull off the goth look' for me? Is it just me that causes there to be a need for 'more eyes'? What's the harsh, y'all? *giggles*

Yep, I like that one too. Seems she has been very busy since I was home last and is now listed as a knife throwing champion (nice set of throwing knives she has too), and has a licence for piercing and tattooing. Ands oooopps, just as well her visitor tonight decided to wrap up in a blanket to wander down for a midnight drink as I am not sure who got the biggest surprise when we almost bumped into each other unexpectedly in her kitchen.:D

No pop-ups here. Just lovely gothic hotness.

And Cat, your goth baby is looking deadly. :D
