Goth Girls of Lit

Any chance that it's in the DC area? I'll be up there next month. I wouldn't mind a side trip if it's in the area.
Well hey, you WILL be up here next month, won't you?! Like, on the 9th! Yes, it's in Annandale, just a couple of miles inside the beltway on Rt 236. (That's the west side of 395, btw.)

I know, right?? Most of my fave pics, I couldn't get permission to post *le sigh* They are copyrighted images from my best friend and she didn't want me to put some of her errrr...better, more lascivious work on the site.

If anybody wants to purchase serious, industrial hardcore, "turn that shit down" music, let me know via PM. My brother in law owns a store that caters to that very market, but he's closing it in March, so he's selling stock cheap. Let me know what you want - either by album or just "gimme something good" - and I'll pass it along to him.

Catalogue please.

WOWZA!!! Hot Hot Hot!!!

Looking fine there Luna!!

Ok, so. I _just_ got back from the nail spa (getting my weekly mani/pedi) and I dove right into (to indulge everyone) a bottle of blood red/black nail polish. Both nails and toes, y'all.... I'm totally. in. love.

(I know this is trivial, but it is a start for me... ya know?)

Okay, that vaguely means something to me. I'll see about more specifics closer to the date. Thanks!

Well, bugger. I didn't get here fast enough. Upstairs playing with my kidlings.

I do like the one you left up though. Very cool.

Only one jumped out at me. Cybotron - Clear.

Funny that it was in the industrial section and not the techno section - Cybotron's "Clear" was the very first techno track. In fact I only found one techno artist in the techno section - Laurent Garnier. Oh well.

I will have to do a double take later.

Let me know if you want to order anything and I'll have him put it aside for you.

Goth didn't magically pop into being in 1980. The goths were heavily influenced by the glam movement, and the granddaddy of goth, david bowie, still walks among us and even makes records from time to time. See also marc bolan (covered often by bauhaus) and others.

I'm amused to see that the Swans were namechecked, but they couldn't find room for the Birthday Party.

Still out out of my lurking cave.....Yeah...us geezers rocked! :D

(I can't even believe I said that....) Maybe its time to retreat to the cave....

Lovely pics Luna, thanks for showing em, I am not normally into cross dressing, but that green velvelt number is almost enough to make me change my mind YUM !.

Way cute kitty snowy....anyone else have gothy looking pets, How abouts a pic of Kato please Homburg?
My dog does skinny well :) but otherwise he is brindle, so not all that gothy.

Little Jade, your new av

Oh my!! This could be my friends' cat, mr Hex. He is the epitome of Goth with his black soul and all. :)

So here i am in L'ville- quite content and happily used (and sore). This afternoon was a real treat for both of us. Me dressed up in goth makeup and a nice little maid's uniform and him.... well.... let's not give up too much information. *giggles* Needless to say, fun was had by all. Unfortunately, we were so caught up in everything- we forgot to take photos!! :( He promised me though we would take pictures next time. Till then, how are you all?

*hugs and loves*

Kato. Not a very Goth setting, but he's such an elegant, darkling kitty.

Many thanks Homburg and Etoile... they are both seriously good looking and indeed Gothy kits.

Kato's pose is also very Dom...I wonder where he gets that attitude :D

Etoile, I hope that for whatever Mischa has the collar soon clears up. I had to use one on Tigga once for over a week while a wound was healing (to stop him biting the stiches out)

He isn't Gothy at all so I won't post him here, but will swap my av for a few days....he is certainly far better looking than I lol.

The collar was quite a while ago, I don't even remember what it was for! He does have a really bizarre, sparsely-furred belly because he's neurotic and licks it too much, but the collar was for something else.

Heh, Kato is the biggest msub cat you've ever seen. Seriously. In eight years, he has never scratched or bitten a human. He occassionally will get into fights with our other cat, Buttercup, but usually winds up on the losing end.

Personally I would call Kato more emo than goth. He whines an awful lot! lol!
