No, the "common sense" based take on reality is usually garbage. Sociology is as much of a science as such a field of study can be.

Who the fuck keeps every single gun in safe? Especially any that are for HOME DEFENSE? Another example how the Lefties are ill equipped to even discuss gun control, much less condemn the reasoning. Thier "logic" has its genesis in the ramblings of ignorant comedians and what a PC cop doing a PR stint on a TV News channel says. A people wonder why there is such a disconnect between the 2 sides of the issue? The gun control/gun averse crowd won't even learn enough about firearms ownership to speak on the same level concerning the topic matter. Ruins? Hardly. Just one more person ignorant of the WHY and HOW.
