I think people are far more hung up about nudity than they should be. I go naked at every opportunity at many beaches and in wilderness areas since there's no better feeling.

At one beach a guy came along who must have assumed it was a nudist beach because he stripped off and sunbaked a while. My wife almost mistook him for me, thinking we were the only ones there.

During one of my nude hikes some young guys who had been fishing came racing down the track past me. I just stood to one side and I'm not even sure they realised I was naked. It was down quite a steep rough track and I think they were so caught up in their own thing they just didn't take any notice.

On the whole people are probably far more paranoid about being seen nude than they should be. I walk around the house naked most evenings. Onto the balcony in plain sight etc. There's plenty of opportunity to be seen, but I just don't think people take that much notice.

I suspect if you're comfortable in your skin and don't look like you're up to something you shouldn't be people also give it a pass.

I'd certainly like to see many more people follow suit.

Yes - several times, I have been to a nudist colony a few times- which was fun - but Idk if you would call it “public”- many times to nude beaches and a few times recently. I took off my clothes hiking-except for my boots. I thought no one was around- it was a gorgeous day but very early in the morning. I rounded some rocks- and ran right into a couple walking- they started to say something but i put my shirt on that I was carrying so they kept going. I don’t think that they were amused. And- the next time I stripped in the conference room at my office after hours- I liked to leave the light on because there was a high rise hotel across the street- and some people would see- in fact - one night someone was blinking the lights so I waved and they blinked them about 10 times after that- so that was fun. One night though - I was doing it and the door of the conference room swung open and it was some painters, i was able to put on a jacket but it only covered my chest leaving my bare butt exposed. I ran out of there and do not know their reaction but adrenaline was pumping in me

I've been nude in my yard many times and since there is no fence there is a good chance that I've been seen. I've never had confirmation of that though. I've walked down to get mail in the dark too.
