Happy Easter! Trump Attempts To Recite "The Lord's Prayer"

Hey, he got “the power and the glory forever and forever “ He wants that.

Any other bit? Forgiving trespassers?? Nooo!

I support Trump policies, but don't particularly like the man. I can actually draw a distinction between personality and policy. That said, and I'm not going to defend my support for Trump policies because that's not the point on this thread, or at least shouldn't be, I've never been comfortable with the idea of calling Trump a Christian. I was never convinced he was even fully a conservative. I think he is a fiscal conservative at best who understands what side his bread is buttered on because you liberals lose your minds every time his name is mentioned. So I'm not surprised he doesn't know the Lord's prayer. But given the choice between a man who messes up the Lord's prayer, for a president who declares Resurrection Sunday transgender visibility day, I think I'll stick with the guy that messes up with the Lord's prayer.

And at least Trump recognizes in his rallies and the things he's involved in the Christian heritage that the nation has... Whether you like the fact that it's a Christian heritage or not. And at least he isn't actively attacking Christians for being Christian. The Biden administration has done all of the negative on that. So again, a guy who messes up the Lord's prayer, but at least knows the meaning of Liberty for all... including people you disagree with... Versus a Joe Biden who is a Catholic but clearly anti-christian so much so that his own church does not acknowledge Him as legitimate, I think I know what my choice is.

do you STILL not realise that Transgender Visibility Day has been declared on the same date since 2009? that's a full FIFTEEN years. It just happened that Easter Sunday was celebrated on the same day THIS year, being a moveable christian celebration (appropriated from former cultures celebrating fertility)... and just now that the ignorant rise up with their pitchforks using christianity as the faggot-fuel (as in wood but the pun's a deliberate nod t the hatred) to light under the feet of transgender people.

He’s not a fiscal conservative.

“One of President Donald Trump’s lesser known but profoundly damaging legacies will be the explosive rise in the national debt that occurred on his watch. The financial burden that he’s inflicted on our government will wreak havoc for decades, saddling our kids and grandkids with debt.

The national debt has risen by almost $7.8 trillion during Trump’s time in office. That’s nearly twice as much as what Americans owe on student loans, car loans, credit cards and every other type of debt other than mortgages, combined, according to data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. It amounts to about $23,500 in new federal debt for every person in the country.” Propublica.

Come back when you've got evidence of that. Everyone here knows you have never actually seen anything to support this.
Do you actually believe Biden’s puppeteers would allow him to attempt reciting the Lord’s Prayer in a public forum. Half the time Biden doesn’t know what planet he’s on.

BUT the 31st of March IS and has been for some time Transgender Visibility Day. It's only happenstance it's also Easter Sunday this year. Why can't you absorb this fact? You make yourself look really dumb or a captive Trumpette, which is worse.

I'm aware that this was done by the liberals for a while... My issue is that this is the first time it has been officially declared from the White House to be such. That first time just happens to be on the time. It's going to be Resurrection Sunday? And from a president who claims to be Catholic? And you're telling me that's an accident? Or not intended to make a statement? You definitely have drank the Kool-Aid.

If Donald Trump had, on the anniversary of Trayvon Martin's death, declared it! Celebrate Robert E. Lee day, You would be throwing a fit. Even if it had been a celebrate ate Robert E. Lee day for years before Trayvon Martin died, And it just happened to fall on his anniversary of his death and it was declared from the White House. You would be throwing a fit. How is it that you can't see that it is blatantly offensive to declare a belief system that says God makes screw-ups and therefore those who are born boys sometimes are really girls, And declare that celebration on the same day that Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, how is it that you don't see that this is absolutely designed to offend? If you don't understand that you have been intentionally blind to anything except your worldview.

You never said fuck all about Trans day, till it hit the rightwing media feeds you engorge on.

you felt you had to post this twice because i didn't respond immediately?

this may be the first presidential 'proclamation', but in a year where hundreds of anti-LGBTQ2+ movements have been made across the USA by the small-minded haters, it is a prime time to make it and fully in keeping with the date that easter just happens to fall on this year: my first 11 years on this planet were Catholic-centered, and once the old irish priest had retired (all old testament, fire and brimstone) the younger one taught acceptance, love, humility, kindness and acts of selflessness... the way of Jesus Christ, christianity if you will. President Biden speaking out on support, love, acceptance et al is entirely in keeping with non-monetized christianity.

Dude, do you not understand that it actually IS transgender visibility day?

Why do you think God is too petty to share Easter with another event? Do you think God hates trans folks?
