Have I been banned?

tell me how to pm the site owner. that is what i asked from you, not a stream of abuse. Muppet? phew, that is about as unprofessional as i have ever seen. You did threaten, me by suggesting i may have created the chat room myself,.
Just tell me - what is the way to pm Laurel with a complaint? how hard can that be? Just tell me that way to do it, I shouldn't have to work that out for myself. that is your most basic professional duty.
I am not being childish, merely asking for something very normal in business, a) a true explanation of the behaviour of the company and b) the right to complain about it
PS customer is a user of a service, if it is a free service it is still customer.. Client or user if you prefer.

And yes as yet another experienced chat moderator, your ban stands. Also, it is an easily discernable fact that any Literotica user can create any number of chat rooms. Without leaving any record of doing so. Even you.

philipps9, the site owner's name is Laurel. She can be reached via the forum here. You can use the search function in the upper right to look up anyone by name. Just search by user. If you like, I can PM you the standard link.

please tell me the best and most precise way to contact the site owner in the case of a complaint. is it via the forum, as you suggest, or a standard link? (do send it me if it is. please) or is there, god forbid, an actual complaints procedure? :)

and before i waste any more time could you explain your colleagues comment that my message to the owner
will be ignored?

Dude, they locked you out of a small part of a large website. The didn't cut both of your arms off.

And yes, it most likely will be ignored.

well, thats vey helpful, but i am not the kind of person to give up w/o a fight. these people are in the wrong, and i have been accused of breaking rules, which i haven't, and that is damaging to me (i am on the spectrum) i need to get justice. i know i am not going to, but i have to go through a process. its true it is a small thing, but its important to me! they won't tell me how to complain, they call me a muppet! how would you feel? they have been so horrible

kind hearted, are you having a laugh? she was horrible to me
as you are being. i didn't know that but it was suggested by her i might have done that. why three times? i have just been banned for inadvertently falling beneath standards. she is way below the acceptable standard, like in england the volunteers in the oxfam shop have some training, they dont call customers muppets!

I "threatened" you but you trust me to tell you how to pm someone...that math is not mathing dear.

Its not a threat...its an insult...and I have no proof you did not create the room and sat there for any amount of time waiting for someone to come in to chat about the topic...and the full irrationality of you continuing this...is not making me think."I have seen the error of my ways...you are right...we need more of this in the chat."

also...i will say it again...You! are! not! a! Customer!

This is a free site...you have paid nothing to be here...you cannot pay nothing and then demand a refund. This is why you were called a Muppet. Also I am very good at customer service actually I have many awards from past jobs saying this......but the thing is...I am paid to be there. I am paid to be nice to people...and I am from those who know me am a nice person...I like to think I am a loyal and respectful friend. I want my friends to be happy and healthy. the thing is...respect is earned and those I call friends are amazing. You have done nothing deserving of respect, *hands you my shovel* keep digging.

why three times? why demanding, why kind hearted? she's anything but. what she said to me tonight was inexcusable

I KNOW my ban stands. but i didn't know i could create a chat too, i thought they were provided by the website. so i was wrong, but you are too. i clicked on a room in good faith (after all, family relations, age gap, taboo are all in there!) in was a moment of not thinking. but, on the other hand, i only clicked, i wasnt even thinking. i was banned immediately, i didn't even have a conversation in there. I did not break any of the rules, i have looked at them carefully (told you i was syndromy!)
so i don't understand the response.

@philippa9 -- I'm another chat moderator here. We know the rules, because we wrote the rules. You broke one, and it was a big one. One that you agreed to abide by when you established your account with us, so no blame falls to us for your behaviour.

We are all volunteers, here because we love the site and want to keep it running. We regularly close down rooms that break rules, because (as has been pointed out) anyone may make a room.

Sometimes, people thank us for doing our jobs. Then there are other people, who want to continue to argue long after they've lost the point.

Here is Laurel's contact page: https://forum.literotica.com/members/laurel.7/ -- click the box titled "Start Conversation." You are free to complain to Laurel, but (again, as has been pointed out) she's not likely to reply, because a) she's busy, and b) she knows we do our jobs.

Please devote some of your considerable energy to the concept of radical acceptance: you are banned, and you're not going to be unbannned. This is a very niche corner of the internet that you've been excluded from -- the rest of the internet beckons -- move on.

thanks, but my point of disagreement is, i didnt
i read the rules, and reviewed what i did, and i was quite sure i didn't break the rules. that's why i wanted to complain even though i was told that i would be ignored.
i didn't break the rules because i clicked on a chat room, and then was banned. i didn't talk in that chatroom which was what the rules forbade

also i got called a 'muppet', which didn't help!!!
i have assiduously avoided calling any of the many people who have responded to me any derogatory label.

Please, please, do go to Laurel with that attitude: I don't like what happened, even though several moderators and their bosses (yes, Thesunmaid and Quip are my bosses) told me I was in the wrong.

And philippa? If a "muppet" is the worst thing you get called on this site, you should be thankful.

by the way, my assertion is that i didn't break a rule! i clicked o a chat room called Incest. how is that breaking a rule?
the rule says that you can't rp incest, it doest say you can't click on a link. i had no idea that the rooms were not approved by the website. that wasn't clear. i thought they were, there were Family Relations, Taboo etc etc
i clicked on those but there was no problem
i have been put right on that point by a number of people, but i didn't know it at the time

hi, i feel exonerated by you, you are the first person to help me in this. thank you. but i can't read half of your message, it in very faint blue, i've just clicked on it and it is clear now. thank you. contact me again i wld appreciate your advice on how or how not to proceed

so you are aware of the name of the room you were in? Now...

here is the rules
https://forum.literotica.com/threads/chat-rules-for-2023.1590050/

take a gander at the number 3...being connected to any of these things including rooms will get you banned.

and also since I am feeling nice let me show you something...

3. The following topics will result in an Instant and Permanent Ban from the chat services and possibly from Literotica.com com entirely. The legal age on Literotica.com is 18 years old or over. There is no discussion or further warnings for these topics or rules.

Now if you indeed read the rules what possesed you to go into that room? The only conclusion I can come up with is you took an interest in the rooms topic which is *points to the rules* say it with me...bannable.

there is also this (i know all these darn links)

https://www.literotica.com/stories/tos.php

This is the terms of service...which you have to agree to when you join.

Now take a peek at number 13

it says

13. The webmasters of Literotica reserve the right to remove any content or user from the site for any, or no, reason at anytime.

You agreed to this..so really I did not even need to provide you with a reason. Also I will only ever support and ban for a reason even though I could ban people for no reason at all. Right now...I could say I banned you because I find you unpleasant. (still not a threat by the way.) But I would not do that. Have a good night.

i did, and i didn't break them
