Fucking on a car in a dark and nearly empty lot doesn't seem all that harmful to me. For one thing, you're unlikely to be interrupted by kids or the elderly. And even if someone unexpectedly does wander by, you're not likely to create any confusion as to whether someone's being hurt.

I object most to public displays involving pain or humiliation. Aside from being disturbing to many, they put even the kinkiest observer in an awkward spot.

Is it consensual? Are they just a couple of obnoxious exhibitionists? Should I intervene? Call the police? What....?

Forcing bystanders into that type of position is just totally unacceptable in my book.

Agreed. A friend of mine had to deal with this in the parking garage at her school, earlier this year. She saw a girl with a sweatshirt tied over her head, being led to the elevator by some guy, and didn't know what to do. The woman wasn't really protesting, but at the same time it was a really odd occurrence, and she had no idea whether the chick was a willing participant or not. I would hate to ever put a bystander in that position just for a few moments of excitement. Not to mention potential dealings with authorities depending on how that bystander reacts...
