I dont get as many as when I first started my thread. But whenever I post additional pics I get more. I've seen most everything..guys who are just asking to chat and ones who are asking for a date. I always try and be nice.

When you post pictures, do you get a deluge of PMs from the Romeos around here? Just curious why the thread starters freak out and pull the pics so much.

How about on a normal basis? Do guys PM you a lot? Just curious.

I do when I post new pics..or post in general...and most of them are really nice...I figure if they are nice enough to look at the pictures then I should be nice enough to respond....

I will sometimes post a comment on a pic thread and also send an appreciative chatty PM to the woman posting. IMHO it's only fair to be friendly to someone who has brought a little more lightness and pleasure into the world by posting pictures.

Well, I took the time to look through your threads and I stand behind my statement. I believe you could make a pretty cute slave yet for someone.

I think a lot of times the simpler PMs are just a fly by thank you. I don't really think the OP of the thread OR the person sending the PM really expects an answer to those.

More detailed PMs and thread posts generally get -my- time just because it's kind of assumed that it deserves it. (IMHO)

I think it depends on the thread too. I'm trying to keep my pic thread super classy, casual and funny and not have any hard-core porno stuff going on. Basic TnA, really, of the softest variety. The kind of stuff you'd see on "The Red Shoe Diaries" yannow?

I think girls who post more elabroate or dirtier pictures would get a lot more PMs. And probably a lot more basic ones, too, just on the sake of bowing to the laws of ratios.

I looked through your thread too and I can see how you would not attract the super-creeps. Very well done and smoking hot.

In my humble opinion, if you can ride out the first few days of cyber requests when you first start your thread, it dies down. Personally, I've been here a couple of years and I've always received really nice PM's.

Just for comparison, I've been around here for a few years, commented on a great number of threads, never posted pictures of myself, and am a man. I think I've received a sum total of maybe 6 or 8 pm's over the entire time I've been here.

That said, I rarely send them, either.

Note: I am not complaining about not receiving private messages, nor trolling to receive them. Merely providing a statistical comparison.

I get perhaps 1-2 PMs a week, down from around 10/week when I was posting more actively. Most of the messages I've gotten were friendly and polite. A few were offensive. Some were merely useless, e.g. "20/m/uk u???" and that kind of thing.

I've only recieved I think....6 PMs total from women? And I've been a member of this site for YEARS.

None of them were sexual. Half of them were regarding posts I did in the RP forums, and the other half were from thread games (send a post to the person above you, etc) or questions I had. I've had to empty out my PM box four times since I've been a member of this site, so I think that's saying something. ^_^

Hey thanks! I have received some horribly disturbing PM's, some just due to this thread. I did find the ignore function, it was kinda depressing.
