Finally, a pumpkin pie I can love! :D
Yes, I am probably the only person in the universe who hates pumpkin pie...

I've never hated it but I also did not grow up with pumpkin pie, either. In my house, we had squash pie, made with butternut squash and slightly different seasonings. My eldest despises pumpkin pie, though I sometimes think it's out of a deep-seated desire to dislike anything that his brother enjoys, just out of spite.

All of this is not to ignore that the misspelling in your post means that your approval is both irrational and doesn't count. :p

Will it's nice to finally know that I am not alone in my dislike of pumpkin pie! I honestly have never met anyone (when it came up in conversation, obviously) who did not like it! Thought I was alone in the world.. :(

Then that mean, old, curmudgeonly, picky, no stamina MWY came along and made fun of me :( :( Life sucks
:p

Even at my nearly-at-death's-door advanced age, my stamina could squash your stamina like a salamander under a cast-iron skillet.

No stamina? Salamanders under cast-iron skillets?

Sounds like a challenge. Place your bets, people! :p

Last year I went to a Halloween party at which the object seemed to be drinking and maybe ass grabbing. No, thank you. Never again.

This year I may go to a library event or I may just stay home and watch funny horror films and eat candy.

As for Thanksgiving, I did get a movie called Thankskilling to set the mood. This year my husband's family wants to get together for the first time in a decade. Kill me now. Ugh.

I do not like pumpkin pie or apple deserts in general other than a caramel apple. I do love pecan. Happily my family members do not like pecan. More for meeeeee!

Around here, halloween is not much of a thing, even though the "pushers of all things plastic " try hard to make it one.

Tonight, we will purchase candy for trick-or-treaters knowing full well there won't be any. :D

The kids like it.
Oldst one made pumpkins with faces with her friend and youngest dressed up earlier this week.

On saturday we visited graves of near and dear ones who are not with us anymore and put flowers and candles there.
We did the local ones by day and then had an early dinner before went for a long drive visiting graves further away from home.
It was dark and so beautiful with the candles and flowers.

We also took some time to visit lighthouses and castles that we passed on our way.

Dark and very spooky!

I can't stand Pumpkin Pie either!!! You aren't alone. I don't understand the whole flavor everything with pumpkin as well. It grosses me out.

Trader Joe's went positively crazy with it this year! Hundreds of things in pumpkin flavour, some of them just wrong wrong wrong  Pumpkin pop tarts and salsa? Ummm... no thanks!
