Hottest women

Janeane Garofalo - Her humor makes her super-sexy. Besides I always thought she was way prettier than Uma Thurman.
Yea, Raff! And Salmita, as the homies call her, is only going to get more beautiful.

'dita

(I am avoiding my novel, )

I've liked Garofalo ever since I saw her in The Truth About Cats and Dogs .. And then again in Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion.. She's great =)

Salma Hayek - J-Lo eat your heart out. Hayek personifies modern exotic beauty in a way Lopez can only aspire to.
I met her not long ago, when she were on a mini promo tour in Europe for the Frida Kahlo film. She is stunning up close too.

But DAMN how close to the ground. Ok, I'm pretty tall, but she reached me to my armpit, I kid you not.

How could I forget Demi Moore?

I like her best in ghost, and a few good men, but she kicked ass in GI Jane. (not really a brunette in the latter, lol)

Yeah, I meant Gena Gershin. And 'Bound' definatly melted my wax.

Sorry 'dita, I'm only 28, and I'm a cradle robber. Don't know any of the women you named.

My all time fave is Katie Holmes. She's so beautiful, and so *sweet* looking, she inspires very dirty thought in me, that make me feel just ashamed. If I where a man I'd probably have a premature ejaculation everytime they showed her face somewhere.

What a fun thing to think about.

First out of the block, Dawn Wells for being the first woman I noticed on TV for being a woman. And she gave me a life long love of bare midriffed outfits.

Then there was my Star Trek phase : Denise Crosby

And my porn stage : Ginger Lynn Allen and Annette Haven.

My soft porn stage : Jean March

My ashamed to admit it stage : Alyssa Milano and Demi Moore

The thinking man's sex symbols :
Susan Sarandon, Patricia Heaton, Holly Marie Combs and believe it or not, Jennifer Tilly.

And the classy choices : Joan Chen and any woman in Pedro Almadovar's films (stealing idea from Perdita).

And to show I not a complete old fuddy duddy : Jennifer Garner

Thank you The_fool for reminding me of the greatest of them all. I knew I was forgetting someone great. Helen Hunt

Patricia Heaton (everybody loves Raymond)

and Merideth Viera (the view- age 50)

and

Annette Benning (I have no idea of her age, but she is extremly hot. I think I'd like to see her in a girl girl with Sharon Stone (hair short, Hillary Clinton style)

Rumples, aren't we always in accord? ;)

I would include Deneuve at any age, I love her youth, but all of the women I admire and find beautiful achieve another level of beauty as they age. Not to be conceited, but I'm told I was stunning in my youth, and I do not fully enjoy becoming "mature", but I would not go back a year if I could.

Yes, Claudia was a looker, and I do appreciate Zeta-Jones but I can't get past her choice of husband.

maturely, Perdita

OOhh, I likke her husband!!

Charlize Theron (who looks amazing with *any* color hair)

i have to second, Selma Hyak, Jamie Gertz and Jenean Gerofalo, but add J-Lo, Eve (humma, humma), and a few others who's names fail me at this moment. Toni Baxton and Mya.

That's another reason why I think she's lovely - I'm only 5'6".... *grins*

Yeah for Annette Bening, and Lonesome Dove reminded me of Diane Lane and Anjelica Huston, two more who get more alluring with time.

Definitely agree on Jessica Alba. Bring back Dark Angel!

The Earl

Pierce, glad to see you have a penchant for senorita types. Ever see Dolores del Rio?

Srta. Perdita :rose:

Thanks for the link, Pierce. This is from it but with a larger photo.

Muy Mujer

At first glance it seems a glamour shot, and it is that, but look at the face a while. The models and starlets of today can copy or try to imitate the look (even the photographers aim for it) but the profundities of thought in the face of del Rio, even in her youth, is missing among our young "beauties". Paltrow, Ryder, etc., are vapid, however beautiful or crafted they act.

Recall Swanson's remark in Sunset Blvd.: We had faces then.

Film noir women ...

Kathleen Turner in Body Heat
Jessica Lange in The Postman Always Rings Twice
Lauren Bacall, of course, in The Big Sleep

or a less erudite and more innocent comment from my daughter who is a huge fan of Golden Age movies. "I like it when Grandpa tells me I'm beautiful. Because he was young when they had ALL those REALLY beautiful women."

Her favorites are Judy Garland and Ginger Rogers (did I mention she's a musical fan ;) )

Tell you daughter she's my kind of woman-pal. I love Judy too, since I was a girl.

Perdita :)

I've always thought that Nicole Kidman is exquisite. But I do hate it when she dyes her hair...

For a cute, skinny blonde I like Nicole K. At the opposite end of the spectrum, does anyone remember Dorothy Dandridge? She was so fine as "Carmen Jones".
