What makes good erotic literature?

1. Characters who you either believe in, or are willing to suspend disbelief in
2. Situations and worlds and character motivations that are at least self-consistent (even in my first person strokers, the woman addressing the reader is at least self-consistent)
3. Outside of pure strokers, a plot that carries you along
4. Again outside strokers, sex that means something to the people engaged in it
5. An emotional dimension (even if it’s a quick fuck)
6. An attempt to use language in a way that draws the reader in (many ways to do this)

Not so different than non-erotic literature, really. The concepts are all the same.

I mostly just use my fingers for writing. The creative process is difficult enough without trying to bash the keys with my nose or tongue.

Depends on the porn. You stick with sites like bangbros and Brazzers etc, you're just getting flat out porn. Check out a site like Pure Taboo(and taboo in the true sense of the word, as in not just incest, but other things society would deem wrong) and you get hour long vids that have some build up and some intriguing premises that have enough behind them to rival written erotica. Whoever they hire to work on their scripts has imagination and talent.

Also, there's plenty of stories here that are as flat out just fucking as the flat out porn vids.
