I did vote for some Republicans down ballot, though up top went Democrat.
The good ol' Orange is Black...
Not all, but some. I don't vote in response to 45. I vote, in some cases, to limit too much momentum in directions I don't like. It's not ever a one party versus another vote.Serious question - you found republicans that aren't lockstep with the party vote in favor of Trumpism?
Mine is too. They took it out of the school.Doctor Tyler told me she now has her polling place in a church, which seems to assrape Mr. Jefferson's Greatest Architectural Achievement. I wonder how they reconcile that.
The hypocrisy is strong in that one . . . .

Sends a message.
Yes, I vote differently than you do.On principle alone I can never support any republican that has engaged in lockstep obstructionism or has embraced Trump or Trumpism.
I am amazed you found any that don't check any or all of the above boxes.
Is there a counting test, or is math still racist?Hers was formerly in a school.
Now the schools are closed for Election Day.
That should make plenty of room in the building for Vote Counters.
Yes, I vote differently than you do.
It happens. I know many who vote differently than me. I give them information and help them find voting info as well.
Not a fan of those who don't vote more than those who vote differently.
I can never trust the GOP anymore - their non-actions are worse than their worst actions. No need to get defensive. Relax Jack.
The fact is that in my opinion any of person in the GOP who has engaged in what I listed - or voted against abortion rights - hasn't earned the right to be voted for because they are actively engaged in nongovernance.
I like getting what we pay for in government officials.
Voting is a civic duty. That we 100% agree on.
Given however that the GOP is actively committing what could fairly be called governmental and economic sabotage... the person who commits those doesn't get the oval filled from me.
I understand why you vote that wayNo need to get defensive. Relax Jack.

So do II like getting what we pay for in government officials.

I'm a middle of the road person. I don't like giving anyone unfettered power the majority of the time. Sometimes, giving someone the ability to get things done works...sometimes, it doesn't. When both candidates aren't my cup of tea, I vote for other candidates that would be a check on their stupidity.Given however that the GOP is actively committing what could fairly be called governmental and economic sabotage... the person who commits those doesn't get the oval filled from me.

So do I

Overall, I'm not a one issue voter. In Ohio, abortion is a state right, so voting for abortion rights up ballot so they don't pass a ban on abortion at the federal level is more important to me than at the State level, where I'm more concerned with Gerry mandering.
I'll never vote straight party ticket...just not my the way I consider things.
I've tended to vote more.conservative for court officials. I know with recent events, that view has soured for many.Upon reading your initial post, I too wondered the same thing that Adrina just asked. Not piling on. Not starting an issue or giving you cause to be defensive. You adequately answered.
I would like to think that I could also vote for a republican in this modern day version of the party, unfortunately, all the candidates in my state that I would honor with my vote for an ideological alignment are gone and I would imagine this to be a growing trend going forward.
All Republican women in South Carolina Senate voted out of office

The trick is always to convince others to do the same in the areas we live. Ohio used to be purple and used to be THE swing state to rely on ...similar to Florida actually. It has swing dominately red, which is still strange to me.I appreciate your nuanced approach. It is also a different circumstance in your state.
For Florida we've seen one of our state senators elected despite committing the largest medicare fraud in (Florida?) history. Our governor has gone crazy on his war on woke. Our legislature has prioritized a war with Disney over dealing with the house insurance market. And yeah for funsies, a 6 week ban went into effect in May.
I can't afford to vote republican in Florida.
I believe it was Ohio rep Shantel Brown that I heard being interviewed by Zerlina Maxwell claim that, “Ohio is a gerrymandered state, not a toss up one.”The trick is always to convince others to do the same in the areas we live. Well, to be honest, his answer was meant to lend support to Issue 1, as it seems to align with his support for candidacy.I believe it was Ohio rep Shantel Brown that I heard being interviewed by Zerlina Maxwell claim that, “Ohio is a gerrymandered state, not a toss up one.”
Which polls are wrong and why?Politico frets: the polls have it wrong (hint: they do)
Why the Polls Might Be Wrong — in Kamala Harris’ Favor
It’s taken pollsters eight years to pin down Trump’s voters. Is 100 days really enough to accurately capture potential Harris voters?

I asked you.Ask Politico
It's just bias confirmation
since I have long past predicted the Harris Executive
