IALW go literally anywhere on a map. Point to it, I'll want to go and see what's there. People think I'd be fun to travel with, but no one ever asks to join.

I love to explore too. I’ve learned the hard way that your companions can make or break a trip. I’d rather go alone than with some one who will ruin a trip with complaints or control issues. Finding easy going traveling companions is hard!

The issue I've had is in convincing traveling companions that every trip isn't like going to Disney where you're trying to cram in as much as you can in the shortest period of time.

I like to take my time, read every plaque, study everything in the museum, etc. Just wander slowly through. That approach isn't for everyone.

I still love learning new things. Always try to learn something new daily.

Yes, sitting in a local cafe, eating the specials, drinking a latte and people watching is the best! One of my favorite memories of Madrid is doing exactly that wi a friend who is a more seasoned traveler. Idk if the churros really tasted as good as they did or if I enjoyed the experience so much that they are now of mythical proportions. Lol

IALW thinks the Wow! reaction should be worth a point so I could use it more. There are many situations where it's the best fit. There are lots of "good" wows; not just "WTF?" ones.

I am so tempted to start a “Help Luke write again” thread where others could place ideas, scenarios, names, places, sentences and costume ideas in a mind map style.

However looking around at some of these shady fuckers, they would have either already stolen them from somewhere else or would steal them from you.

What can we do to feed your mind and help you with this?
