Here it was all clear and colourless (can't see why that would be called contact paper as its obviously no paper, here it's contact plastic). I have a faint memory that my older sisters had colours and even some not see-through, but those went totally out of style before I went to school.We had both. Contact paper (sticky-backed plastic) with fun colors or patterns were in a higher cool tier than brown kraft paper book covers
We had Boscov's and Clover in the northeast. Sometimes junk but often some pretty good stuff at the right price.Brendle's was a pretty good store to shop
