I would know you.

Here are my first round of questions for an of you that wish to answer.

Question 1: Are you a Poem or a Novel?

Question 2: What do you worry about and why?

Question 3: Share your best childhood memory.

Question 4: If you could only keep five material things what would they be.

Question 5: Name your greatest aeipathy.

Looking forward to knowing some of you.

Vorpal.

Background check complete, finally.

1. I'm a novel. One much like 'if on a winter's night a traveler', many different stories with one common theme.

2. I worry about finding myself after leaving a domineering relationship with a narcissist/sociopath (not a Dominant in anyway). Because I need to be me.

3. Growing up with my brothers. We were ALWAYS together, I went to them with problems, we ate lunch together even as teenagers in school - our friends were included into our group, if that makes sense. Yes, I was the princess.

4. My books, my cell phone because pictures are here, my red rocking chair, my sewing machine, and my weapon

5. Learning new things, history, travel

A bakery is a store though, no?

Yes. some bakery's are stores. Not all bakery's are stores. Some ship the baked goods to the hungry for free. Others have no storefront but ship the baked goods to storefronts, deli's and the like. A bakery that makes only cakes is evidently called a cakery. I suppose that would be categorized is a subset of the primary concept of bakery.

No. Eww, bread butt.

Hmmm... last month? There was a guy at school reading a book called "How to Read a Book" and he was citing it in his paper and everything. Textbooks are ridiculous.

I do. Same reason as Far. Well, I'm a student but it's still the same reason. Time management and pulses.

My car is dark grey.

How to read a book lol, that's awesome!

Bread butts are ze worst!

Ooo I'm getting the logic puzzle vibe

Julie went to the store on Wednesday
Rob did not go to the store the same day as Julie or Jane
Jane likes the color green
The person who went to the store on Thursday likes bread butts

Pulse ox. I have one. Still prefer to use my hands. Sometimes it's hard with cold fingers, shaky hands, fake nails, nail polish, etc. Good for a general idea but when something REALLY depends on that pulse (or they have an irregular beat) hands on is the way to go.

I'm getting apostrophe confusion.

Pulse ox is for O2 levels.

If I hold someone's hand, I look for the pulse. It comforts me.

Good point, tons of people do have fake nails/ cold hands. I like to admire people's nail polish from afar, especially when they have the little 3D embellishments

Novel
Not much
Not applicable
I prefer memories & experiences over things
Lingerie

Thank you for sharing.

Cool, so your like an anthology with a common structural theme. Always different yet always you. Narcissim and sociopathy are challenging to deal with for sure. If you had the strength to get away from that bad situation you are already stronger then most. Perhaps start there and find out what other attributes you possess. Brothers sound fun. I only have a sister. She ended up a commander in the navy. Go figure. What's your favorite book?

I've been on the BDSM talk sub forum for about a week answering the occasional thread that I can experientially speak to. Hopefully it helps provides someone with a new perspective or understanding of BDSM related interactions. It occurs to me that while there is activity, It seems a small subsection of the main forum folks.

I want to be welcoming and get a general feel of the people here. In pursuit of that endeavor I think I should get to know some of you. Hopefully this will show me what I need to know of the people and group dynamics on literotica to decide if I wish to spend my time and energy interacting here.

So with that in mind. Here is my shot at making this fun and interactive, I'm going to give you some questions to answer in this post.

So we don't wear each other out prematurely, I'll wait a day for your answers. Once you return those to me, I'll send you my answers a day later. Feel free to ask any questions that you have for me.

After four exchange rounds. we should know a little more about each other and either have a desire to continue or be ready to drop it. Ok.

Here are my first round of questions for an of you that wish to answer.

I wasn't going to do this, but I got some major deja vĂş while reading the second page.

I don't like auditioning, and certainly not for a stranger. And given the tone of the OP I felt like digging my heels in.

* mumbles * just read threads here like the rest of us and decide if we're good enough.

Novel
My kids, things outside my control
4wheelers, woods, lakeside, gunpowder
Phone, car, book, house, furniture
Veterinary medicine

Thank you Masterlight. I understand. It is hard to evaluate who adds value to an online community and who doesn't. My post was meant to have a tone of a friendly exchange not an audition. I like to invest my time with those who would be honest and open back, offer some of the same effort reciprocally and have an exchange. Does that sound fair or unreasonable? Few people here have been outright hostile to new people at literotica. More then a few are standoffish.

I read a bunch of the threads posted in the cafe in my first days here before posting my thread. Overall they have a strong tendency to get hijacked. While its normal for a thread to evolve in time, having it happen and being redirected away from the top thread on the first couple pages seems to derail the vast majority of threads in the cafe. So knowing that I attempted to be specific in what I wished to do in my first thread post and lend direction. It's harder then one would think as it was pretty much instantly highjacked anyway. :nana: A few of the posters thus far seem very nice and open, others seem more closed off or guarded to new posters.

For example my original post asked for people to answer my questions and then ask some of there own about me. If they wished Only one person so far has had any questions to ask back. This makes me consider that perhaps no one cares to know me. If that indeed proves it is the case, so be it. To continue posting to people who don't care to read or know me would make me guilty of trolling. Better to find out if there is any interest in new community members or move back off the forum to somewhere like a author meet up or munch.

I'm getting the lay of the land here. I have already learned a great deal about a few of you. More so from the response styles or non response styles then the questions themselves. I try to see who the person answering is as a person. I have no complaints nor regrets and am glad to put in the effort to get to know some of the people in the community here and know who I should stay away from. Again thanks for your post and pleased to meet you.

I'm curious as to know your motivation for not answering your own questions when you initially posted. Do you not think it odd to not do so? Tell me your worries is a rather personal question, you are not likely to get an honest answer on an open forum especially as a stranger.

It seems funny to me that you set up this thread the way you did, like you're overplaying the Dom card a bit much.

Just be vague and sound like what you're saying actually means something.
Like psychic readings or horoscopes...

Question 1: Are you a Poem or a Novel?
I'm the Enyclopedia Dramatica.

Question 2: What do you worry about and why?
I worry about ending up like Primalex.
Compulsively going out of my way to annoy people like a petulant teenager with unresolved daddy issues on a Machiavellian streak.

Question 3: Share your best childhood memory.
I hit my head realllllly hard after falling off a bike near the end of my childhood so I don't really have any memories.

Question 4: If you could only keep five material things what would they be.
My brain.
A jar of pickling liquid to keep it in.
My cat's brain.
A jar of pickling liquid to keep it in.
A wifi-connected iPhone so I can tell when cyborg bodies have been invented.

Question 5: Name your greatest aeipathy.
Murdering, bisecting and eating young men.
And not necessarily in that order.

Hi cakecups. Thank you for your response. I'd be glad to answer any reasonable questions posted for me.

Q1: As to if I think it's odd no. I didn't answer my own questions as I know my answers already. No one asked me too answer my own questions although I'd be glad to if anyone asked. From my perspective If no one asks, no one is interested.

Q2: tell me your worries is a very personal question. If you want to make a meaningful connection with someone asking them about themselves is a good start. If someone chooses not to answer so be it. They either have valid personal reasons or perhaps fear of being 100% honest to someone they don't know. At some point everyones a stranger right up until they are not. A question is an initiation like a offered hand shake. Only the person on the other end can decide to take an action have a response or not. Trust at the start is leap faith thing I guess. Some are all in. Some take it incrementally. Others not at all.

I could see you thinking I'm overplaying. In reality I'm just being myself. No masks here. My signature block links right to my real face and real profile and anything else anyone wants to know short of my Social Security and credit card numbers. In open forum, open world or open anything else I am always exactly me, nothing more nothing less.

I'm glad you were amused. I hope it made you smile.

You also gave us a day to answer and ask. :D. I answered yesterday, and now that I've seen your comments in this thread, may have some questions. I'm not sure how in depth they will be. They may be on par with the Playground thread 'Have You Ever'.

I agree with what you said about more than a few being standoffish. I'm sure they don't intend to be mean, but being new in a group is a bit intimidating. Getting to know someone takes time and, honestly, can't fully be done in a thread.

Postings are just a taste of what someone is like. Who I am on a thread in the PG - flirty, fun, hugs and kisses - is not who I am in PM. I can be all those, but show more of who I am, the depth of it. That's not something I care to share in threads, with everyone (and my lovely troll ).

1. What do you eat for breakfast? (I can make you and Far some French Toast with the ends of bread ;))

2. Where is your favorite place to vacation and where would you go if you could again?

3. What's you're idea of a romantic date?

4. Should the dishes be dried and put away right after they're washed?

5. How many pairs of shoes do you own? (Counting mine in my head - 3!)

Not having any memories of past may not be a negitive. Going full on tabula rasa gives you a chance to create your perspective anew.

Thank you for answering. Pleased to know these things about you. A far as the murdering goes why bisect the corpse or live human prior to consumption? Do you sample him for taste first?
