A virus?
I have insomnia, I have a chaotic mind that keeps me from sleep.
Sleep I even dream of!
Of a virus of dreams, of rest and peace, to be infected like that!
A bug I have, a flu bug, it lays me low, saps my strength, muddles my mind, my dreams are the same, to dream of sleep, to dream of calm and ease!
My haven is my bed, but when I toss and turn, churn my haven into a maelstorm, tangled dreams, tired thoughts, confused and exhausted I admit defeat.
I seek, I still have a glimmer of hope, but hope and dream dim fast, reality encroaches on dark wings, the light peeks through, another day, oh no........
Later, put it off, later, I will cope with a new day, I will sleep then and ignore today!
To sleep, to dream, forever, always.

The chaos is within me, and yes, I need arms to hold me and soothe me.
Roses and there petals are a great aphrodisiac, as long as the thorns are removed!
Sadly my mind is clear, but my dreams are just dreams.

I'll be.........hmm...... Dragonette....I know these feelings well. Sometimes its harder than others...sometimes I sigh a deeper sigh, cry a river, and then kick myself where I need to be kicked, and go on. I know that as long as I have my dream before I die, it will be timely. I have no words of comfort, only understanding.
