I'm out...

I've been posting for over a year and there are posters who try to intimidate, patronize and just look for reasons to be rude to me, still. I choose not to let them stifle me. I just do not post to them or around them.
And not surprisingly, for the exception of one, they are all women.

In my opinion, there are not enough serious Dom-ly opinions on this board. I could learn a lot from them. We have so many subs here (male and female) and not enough of the other point of views.

It is a loss to most of us when people stay away because they feel that a few are not welcoming of their opinions.

More Domly input would certainly bring a bit of balance to the picture. What can we use to entice them out of lurking mode? I can't possibly imagine what would get their attention. Maybe we should have a Spank-A-Sub stand or something...I volunteer my butt for even more spanking than my begging and pleading has already won me. LOL.

You have a brain? Good god, how did that happen? :p

I told him to fuck off, I was happy while he was miserable and his attitudes certainly wouldn't help me change the world. At least mine made it a possiblity, however small.

Is certainly a way most people think nowdays unfortunately. I figure everyone has a place in bringing about change no matter how small. If we all sat on our hands and accepted defeat there would be a huge percentage still not allowed to vote, many still working from dawn to dusk 7 days a week for a pittance, and no joy and opportunites to look forward to as a part of the journey of life unless we belnged to the small privileged minority who used to hold all the power. Of course I have been referred to as a radical on more than one occasion but consider that a compliment and better alternative than being one of the crowd who live in pessimistic doom and gloom. How depressing that would be to live as a reality.

You get that...but then when we in Oz and Kiwi land look at the rest of the world we know why we are blessed. :)

I think the problem with "more Domly input"... is as follows.

Either we're not currently "practicing", so feel we're only speaking hypothetically, or...

We are currently "practicing", and are too busy to spend loads of time on here.

And me, I've been going from one to the other and back again this year.

Of course, with me, I can talk about what I do, how I work and so on, but I can't assume that this is the same for every Dom/me. And I know for certain that my approach also doesn't suit a lot of submissives.

On the other hand, it can be really refreshing getting different and contrary view-points. Provided the other person doesn't take offence (which is just damned annoying)... and my flip sense of humour doesn't help there. Oh well, I'm popular on the mafia hit-list this year, what can I say?

Having said all of that, if someone asks me a question, I am always happy to answer -- even if it's someone I don't particularly care for. I have never felt an urge to hide who I am or my opinions.

... of course, with a title like "I'm out" I did wonder where this would be a thread of Johnny confessing to be gay... :p

Whatever you say... but I know that learning that my submission is different from some other sub's submission has gotten real old. I don't personally care anymore how different I am from other subs. I want to learn something from a few Doms, too.

Well... what would you like to learn?

Feel free to ask if you have something you'd like my input on.

The thought flickered in my mind for a second but then thinking back to the GT I thought, nah. Of course I could have been wrong and he might be waiting for the right moment to tell us all!! Stranger things have been known to happen. Oh well, my twin knows where to come for a shoulder if that happens. LOL.

Why do Domly ones insist on being human too and not the infallible, super supreme beings we dreamed of long ago?

Ah, but if we were super supreme (sounds like a pizza topping) beings... then there'd be no challenge in seducing and having our wicked way with mere mortals.

But as mortals, the ego rush of knowing we can control another, body mind and soul... that someone will willingly give themself to us to be trained, teased and tortured... that's the thrill!

Because we are human, yet intelligent enough to recognize that fact?

Not a slam kittycat ...

fuck 'em if they can't take a joke.

Re stagnation, the original theme behind the thread, i think. We all have a need for stimulation outside of this place as well. i watched a movie the other night called The Last Samauri. A critic had panned it as the Japanese version of Dances with Wolves. Regardless of someone's opinion i'd never met, i enjoyed the movie. Took a while to figure out the undercurrent appeal. Those of you that go see the show will realize to what i'm refering about 30 minutes or so into the movie.

The Discipline appealed to me. One scene in particular spoke volumes, and i think i'll stop right there to avoid spoiling it for anyone.

Hope nobody minds when I step in.
I think I heard about it, when tom cruise is playing in it.
I thought about to see it but will wait for the DVD.
I still want to matrix 3, I need to know how it ends.

Nah, we don't mind.

We're all mucking around in pond water and bitchin' about it ...

It was made in NZ -- not too far from where they did the major shooting for Lord of the Rings. It's kinda funny (only seen the previews so far) -- many of the Japanese in it look very Maori! Will go and see it though.

Matrix 3 was... disappointing. Worth seeing to know how it ends, but still disappointing.

Counting down the days to Return Of The King...

Sounds interesting,
so you don't mind another bitch in here...
Not that I know one, just curious.

Oh, trust me, there's one I would love to fuck! And play with... play with her mind... make her beg and crawl and beg and plead and... oh yes!

Yes, I heard that a lot...

Qoute: It was made in NZ

The production took them 3 years what I heard...

The Last Samurai? Or Lord of the Rings? LOTR took more than three years... no idea about The Last Samurai
