i'm special because...

I can tie a cherry stem with my tongue.
I can cross my toes.
I can move my ears without touching them.
I can raise each eye brow indepentantly.
I can make circles with my arms...both going different directions.
I can pat my head and rub my stomach.
I can move my foot in a circle and draw a figure 8 with my hand (same hand/foot) but only if i do it slowly.
I can pick stuff up with my feet.
I can type roughly 110 wpm but only for short periods.
I can find all the "f"s on that email that went around a few years ago.
I can find the guys head in the coffee beans in under 3 seconds.
I can make a headache go away within a few minutes without the use of drugs.
And i dream in colour...every time i dream.

hehe i dont think most of it is that special but people seem to be surpised but that stuff i do all the time haha.

Oh yeah...and i can pick a 250lb man up by his neck...but only when i'm in labour.

I use visualization tricks to make it go away...

One that I use is to visualize the headache as a stereo or sound and I just turn the volume down...another is to picture it as smoke or sand or something and then the wind just blows it away...

it takes a few minutes to get it to work, and took me a few years to learn it...but it works for me.

doesn't work perfectly for migraines but I can at least dull the pain significantly.

Wow! Talk about the power of suggestion!! I'll have to try that for back pain. Thanks, cc.

Like i said it took me a long time to learn how to do it. The different ones you could use are literally uncountable. I still have trouble sometimes with the volume dial fighting back lol. I think the longest parts of getting it to work was...
1) learning to concentrate through pain (thats why migraines are harder for me) and other distractions.
2) finding a visual that worked for me.

i have heard of people using colour and/or light and slowly making it fade/dim as well.

I'm wondering if it will work on the timely arrival of child support payments.
