Is This Really Who We Are?

This post from the GB was brought to my attention (by someone who knows I dare not venture there..and no, I'm not telling who:p), and I just wondered how many felt this was an accurate description of who we are and what we do. Discuss away if you so desire....add to, redefine, elaborate, dispute, agree, cheer, praise, trash, explore.:rose:

:rose:At the age of 47, I guess that technically, I have been a real woman for approximately 31 years. Masochism has always been a part of my sexuality. During the first 27 of those years I denied my desire for pain. In this conservative Midwestern society, in which I reside, I thought I was a freak. I wrote my first story four years ago. That lead me to do an Internet search, which lead me here, to Literotica. There are no words to describe how great it has been for my spirit. The revelation that I am not alone.

on roasted marsmellows...

How cool and convenient, when reality bites just put your head in the sand…or may be as things have changed, so better pick up a Champaign, put a shrimp on the barbe, or go for some roasted marshmallows, turn on the music and be and party with the like minded people and “enjoy” life. Just as BDMS community like to do so, so does almost all other sections of society…straights cheating on their partners, business professionals (real estate or finance brokers) get the better off the life savings of retired and old and all those who trust their professional “lies”, the “life style” moves on higher platform and we see leading states involved in the same things using media and political powers to cover their ugly policies…reality does bites, so we have find ways and means to burry it deep down under, no reality no bites and merrier the life!!!

I remember a story a veteran jail bird asked the new comer what did he do to land inside the jail, and he informed he stole a wheel cup of a new car. The veteran got disappointed and bit horrified and replied, “Man that is bad, I have killed people, raped many, kidnapped for ransom, robbed banks, but never a crime like yours, that really sucks, can you imagine what sort of pain and frustration that person goes through who just bought a car from life savings or on loan, only to find a stolen wheel cup the next morning?”. We all have developed our own definitions of right and wrong and within each of them our desired threshold of what are acceptable limits, on top of it encourages others to be like one of them…to me we as a society lost long time back…when…but who am I talking to all are having fun and eating roasted marshmallows!!!
