Kind of just puttering around now and trying not to fret about the week ahead.

I remember that I tried to create a BDSM forum chat room there, but it fizzled out.

As far as I can tell, most chat services are like this these days though. You have a short burst of entertaining conversation and long stretches of time with nothing. And most are there to seek a roleplaying partner (or even less, just to get a customized semi-interactive sex story) anyway.

Discord seems to be the only more active chat service but it is often quite toxic and a much younger demographic.

It is basically the exact same thing as IRC except you have voice chat and a few other things. IRC and yahoo chat was so big back in the day. It felt quite few as far as I can remember but I was very young and got to know it through my older brother.

It started out illegal. No monitoring but the same self monitoring you will see in all groups, like ”Don’t mind him, he’s the village idiot!”

I had a friend who hung out there a lot. I rarely did so without her company. It could be rather loud and annoying and most were way older than us. They left her alone because she sounded like a kid (still does actually). I sounded grown up. On the other hand I could call in sick and pretend to be my own mom when I wanted to skip school.

I had a bit of a rough time with both shots but I am still very glad I got them. I know there are lots of people that think it's selfish to not get them and there are lots of people that think it's too experimental. I just wish so many weren't so judgemental about them. It isn't an easy decision for everyone.

I have used alt's chat when I'm in a mood. There's no main room (although I think they do have rooms somewhere on the site) I just keep my fingers crossed someone who pushes the right buttons will message. Generally no buttons are pushed and it's a lot of "I'd love to plow your fat ass with my big nine inch dick" or a lot of submissive men hoping I'll step on their tiny dicks

I turn 60 next month. Seems unreal. I'm treating myself to a "boudoir" photograph thing. It feels really -- weird and self indulgent. I get to decide what I want it to look like. Pin up? Old Hollywood glam? Girl next door? The photographer takes really unique pictures, different backgrounds. Not what I thought when I conjured up this kind of photography.

Has anyone else done this? Is it weird?

I haven’t done it, but I’ve been considering it. My inclination would be pin-up; I just love that whole look. I think you should go for it. I’ve seen the results of a couple of my friends doing this and the photos were spectacular.

If you feel like it’s something you enjoy, definitely go for it cookie! I know someone who did it and it changed the way she saw herself completely. It was wild, she finally saw in herself what others had seen for years. I think at least for me it’d be important to have a good chemistry with the photographer.

If I were to do that, I’d go for pinup too.

Pin up is cool of course but I’d say go for somethings that feels you enough to take some of the ”hey, I can actually look like that” with you afterwards.

Birthday spanks - yes!

The photographer is amazing. Her pics are really different. She did a series for women who wanted to smash things. All glammed up, holding a sledgehammer, pounding the heck out of a wall/window/whatever.

She said to bring a bunch of clothing, shoes, accessories. She recommends "trying on" at least 3 different looks. She's open to some kinky accessories and I'm kicking that around. A subtle collar? I saw a picture with someone in handcuffs but it looked artful, not porny.
