You've only been on this site two months, so you may not have seen it before, but this is a thing that comes up every so often: Women discuss something sex-related, and Reply Guys who don't understand the difference between "discussion" and "SRP thread" take it as an invitation to start telling those women how much they'd like to fuck them.

A lot of women on this site find it uncomfortable and creepy, and it discourages women from posting on these forums at all - I understand some of our old-timers have left because they're tired of the Reply Guys, and it's a problem on other forums too. If you look back a way through the Oral Servitude thread you'll find a couple of occasions where it's blown up.

Meanwhile, women on the receiving end don't always feel comfortable calling guys out on it, because some dudes are AMAZINGLY sensitive about being told "no" and will whine and carry on even when asked very politely.

You might not have intended that way, you might not have intended "you" to mean "you", but it's hard for people to read intent on a forum like this. If you post like a Reply Guy, you will make women uncomfortable and you're likely to be thought of as an asshole. Assuming you're not an asshole, presumably you don't want either of those outcomes?

So I asked politely, both for your sake and for that of women on this forum, for you not to do it. I didn't call you names, I didn't speculate as to your motives or your personality, I just asked you not to do this particular thing that has a history of causing trouble here.

As you say, I'm not a mod, and you are completely at liberty to ignore that request; equally, other posters are at liberty to form their opinions of you based on how you react to a simple request for courtesy.
