Kinky pool party mixed tape - add your jam

Good lord!
The pool needs cleaning, the stereo needs dusting off...
I hear there is a big 6 0 party coming up for someone very special here.

I’ll clean off the grill, who wants to make a beer run?

Hi y'all! I am just going to assume this is a clothing optional pool.

<whips my sun dress off over my head and runs for the deep end>

That’s the spirit, gracie!

Fara, you go, girl!

Taantaffl58, good choice!
You got an abbreviation for that moniker?

I remember Roger in a RS interview, I think, being so pissed about that song, Let My Love Open the Door, etc. because Pete didn’t save them for The Who.
He had no idea what he was singing, half the time:
“I spit out like a sewer hole, yet still receive your kiss. How can I mention love to anyone now after such a love as this?”
No clue.

Rog is a little bit thick. There are many Who songs that are so much better when Pete sings them. Too bad he didn't have the confidence to sing them originally.

Just to be clear, I am NOT a hot weather animal. Just look at that built in fur coat on those arms and legs!

I NEED a pool to keep cool any time the temp goes over 100. Which it already has. And will stay for the next three damn months.

And, yes. As a matter of fact, it is set up in my living room. Right in front of the AC.

Not exactly pool party music maybe. But, I can remember one summer when Chris and Mike (a couple of buddies from college) and I were driving down the highway with the radio off and them picking on a pair of guitars with Mike and I singing:

James Taylor - Mexico

Followed by:

Eagles - Take It Easy

Good memories of a long-ago, much simpler, summer...

Ah, well. Back to the Pool Party Jams.

Sammy Hagar - Mas Tequila
