I won’t answer for @cocokittysurprise but for me they serve different purposes. One is a book journal, one is a junk journal, one acts as a planner, and one is travel journal. Because I like to keep things separated rather than dump everything into one journal. and ultimately because that’s what I like as compared to a need.

That makes sense to me and that should worry you.

I have never kept a physical journal and I believe the app I use occasionally would allow grouping in that sort of ordering. Not sure tho

I like being organized, and they help me to do so. They each serve a different purpose. I don't like digital note-taking, so I have one for work/project management, one for hobbies, a general planner, a reflection journal, and one for vacations (I'm typically the person that plans family vacations).

Also, they're easy for me to keep track of, because the work/hobby/vacation journals generally stay in my office/craft room, the reflection journal is usually kept by my bed, and the general planner is kept on a credenza in my living room.

They each have their own little storage slot so that I know they are where they need to be.

Well another reason I prefer digital journal is my handwriting and my spelling is atrocious and I would misplace the physical one/s all the time
