Line Crossed

I have very dark fantasies which include "rape". I also have sexual partners who I like to enact my fantasies with, it doesn't mean everyone has to like it. I have my reasons why I like it, and they are "my" reasons.

I hate liver but I wouldn't have it taken off a restaurant menu just because "I" don't like it. I am not trying justifying anything as this is my sex life, and it happens in my domain.

There are some men out there who are out and out evil rapists, but every man I've known over the years has been hesitant to act out my fantasy for fear of hurting me. A few men I've known have even been unable to maintain their sexual excitement because the act is too violent for them!

I am a mature Grandmother but I'm still physically fit as I was a professional dancer. Some men like that I can be just as physical in the bedroom. Just saying.

I guess it depends on how physical you get in resisting. I am guessing you get off on fightine off your "attacker". A frie"rnd wanted to be raped and we set it up that I would "rape her". I went to her house to as a service tech. When I was forcing her into the bedroom she said," Wait, I better call my sister, she might stop over!" It sort of ruined it for me but stuff happens! I tied her up just for good measure.

I agree. There are plenty of physical femdom stories on Lit that read as maledom ones, and freedom of thought in fiction aside, I'd say they push forward the wrong idea. Happy to debate on this subject with anyone who prefers physical femdom stories.
I can't say I can "debate" this with you, but I don't think we agree either. I like maledom and femdom pretty evenly, both psychological and physical.

I don't really feel that either of them "push forward" any ideas, wrong or otherwise.

I will say that I write more maledom stories, because I get less reader interest and engagement with femdom.

A lot of my male readers love reading about a powerful woman (aided by magic or whatever) overpowering them. I also find that fun to write. Why would that be a problem?

I meant debate as in a friendly discussion. ;) So I welcome your thoughts and I am glad for the opportunity to explain what I meant.

I like writing and reading femdom but not all it's flavors. While I respect even those that aren't my thing, there are a few that I strongly dislike because I believe there is a subtle message in them, a wrong kind of message if you ask me, even though I can admit that most authors who write such femdom didn't really mean to put such a message forward - they simply followed their own kink.

The type of femdom story I am talking about is one where the woman is physically strong, works out, is an athlete, usually tall, muscled, etc. An amazon of a sort. That woman would often act in a way we would traditionally link to men - assertive in a physical way. The man in such stories is portrayed as wimpy, something that puts me off personally to be honest, as being aroused by a sexually dominant woman doesn't make a guy a wimp - but more about that a bit later.
Anyway, more often than not, the man in such stories is feminized, sissified, etc. The sex is often focused on pegging.

Now to the point.
Why do I dislike such stories beyond them not being my thing? Because the message they send (with all the caveats I mentioned) is one that a woman can be dominant only when she looks, talks, and acts like a man, and if a man is submissive he is automatically transformed into a woman, feminized, sissified, etc. It sends a message that a man's place is to dominate and a woman's to be submissive, so only when a woman acts like a man, and a man as a woman, can the roles be reversed. It's a message I dislike especially in the sense of a woman's place in society.

Once again, I realize that many authors of such femdom are likely just following their kink but I can't help but notice this negative aspect of it. What I want to say mostly, is that a woman can be assertive, confident, and sexually dominant even while being feminine and while being a woman in every "traditional" sense of the word, and a man can be sexually submissive and still be manly in other ways. Being dominant and submissive shouldn't be focused on physical power and strength. Mind over muscle.

I understand where you are coming from and I agree with you. With our so called liberated ways these days I dislike the way women are portrayed in the media and in film. I personally don't agree with feminism and it doesn't represent my views. You only have to look at television advertisements to see how condescending women are to men.

Okay, I better understand your argument, and we don't disagree as much as I first assumed.

I have two stories in which men get pegged (depending on your definition of "pegged" —neither one features any traditional pegging).

In neither story do the men begin acting more feminine or "sissified"; however, in both stories, the men are physically overpowered.

So I feel like what you're complaining about is just one particular kink, and yeah I don't enjoy that kink either... but that's more a problem with the sissification/feminization kink than it is femdom.

But with that said, sure. I get your point.

I don't like stories about weak, scrawny men either. Not even in my femdom.

In my fourteen part series "Mrs. Cheng Pays the Debt" one of the most read series here chapter to chapter I flipped the script. Anne Cheng, our protag is blackmailed into "breaking in" a mobsters son and the son's friend. She knows she is going to have unwanted sex. However, once she sees how green the boys are, she realizes that she is in the driver's seat. She ends up teaching the boys and learns a great deal about herself as well. The NC factor is a constant part of the story but it is never realized as expectations would think. Anyone can write a rape scenario. The trick is to humanize it and drain away the violence as much as possible. A wife might want a stranger to tie her up and cut her clothes off, but engage in actual intercourse with her. Suppose she is kidnapped and that happens, the abductor goes no further, what do we call that? The police might still call it kidnapping and assault if they find out and catch the guy even if said wife insists that the kidnapper did her no harm while praying that none of the cops investigate her cut off nickers and discover how damp they are! People are a bundle of kinks -- even plain vanilla folks have something buried deep down that they confess to no one. This whole argument is glorified kink shaming. "I dislike your kink. It should NOT be on Lit.com! Won't someone think of society?"
