I seldom (if ever) plan a self pleasuring session. Usually it just happens - though more likely in the tub or when I am going to bed. I am not good at keeping to a schedule so maybe that's why I never plan them. Plus it's hard to tell when the tingle is going to hit me.

It's about 60/40 with me....

I pretty much plan to masturbate before bed.... I can't go to sleep unless I've gotten off. Sometimes I go looking for it as I want to get off with someone.

I've got a wife and a toddler, pretty much the only time I get to myself is in the shower. Generally I guess that I decide before getting in the shower whether or not I'm going to masturbate, although I'm frequently edging as I tend to abstain from ejaculating while I'm involved in writing a story, which is most of the time.
