Bumping this up, as I think this thread deserves attention

I took a look at the OP (reproduced below), as it's been a while since I've read it. The encouragement of masturbation is the goal of the thread, and that's okay, and a worthy topic. One that I have participated in from time to time.

Full disclosure: masturbation is currently my only outlet for sexual pleasure. And currently not having a lover who could satisfy those needs, I'm left up to my own devices.

When I turned 40, I honestly thought that my desire for sex would begin to drop. I've read the studies where guys peek in their late teens to early 20's, where we women hit it in our low to mid 30's. And when I was in my 30's I was practically insatiable I thought that I'd be a candidate to be a nymphomaniac! Come 40, there was little to no reduction in my sexual hunger. Now at 45, I'm still not seeing where it appears that my need for sexual satisfaction has waned. Other than a short period of time, my sex drive hasn't subsided. I feel like I was when I was a teenager, maybe more so now. I masturbate almost daily now, sometimes two or more times a day.

Let me make this clear: I'm not complaining, really I'm not. Maybe I sound like I am, but I'm not trying to, really. I truly enjoy sex, enjoy making love, and yes, enjoy playing with myself (that kind of sounds dirty, but that's what it is). And to think I could enjoy sex through my 40's, into my 50's and 60's, longer even if I'm still around, that would be pretty awesome.

Ask questions of one another: who does it, and doesn't do it? How do you masturbate (hands, toys), how often, where, when. Even the why's, or the why not's. Do you need encouragement? or do you think you masturbate too much, or too little? I don't expect a deep, philosophical discussion about it, but maybe I'm expecting too much?
