Good evening. It really has not been a cold winter so far. A few days but not like I remember as a kid when I had to walk 10 miles to school barefooted in a snowstorm and up hill both ways to boot.

I shouldn’t have posted that…because it just so happened to be warm today lol. But Maryland weather is sometimes unpredictable.

It was still cold though 😩

No, but the housing development across the street (away from me) has really seen a surge in crime in the last two or three years. That has spilled over to our building with the occasional catalytic converter theft. I just had one of mine replaced. Thank goodness I can park in the garage!

I've been saying that we've had a mild winter in MD. Thing is, I feel colder in Maryland than I did when I went to Winnipeg a month ago and it hit -20. :eek:

I saw something on the news about the catlaytic converter being stolen from the oscar mayer wienermobile. Now who would do something like that? That is like stealing Santa's sack of toys.

The humidity can definitely get bad in the summer. When I live in Colorado, they had really low humidity which made it nice but they are also considered a high plains desert so not a lot of water to be found there. That means no lush vegatation.

I was skiing one time deep in the mountains of Colorado. Got out the car the night I first got there and my nose hair froze. Found a thermometer and saw it was -20. That was cold.

Plenty of precious metals in those, and a heavy vehicle like the Wienermobile would be a gold mine (no pun intended).

The only problem I had at that temperature was it hurt my face. Went into a sporting goods store and solved that problem for $30 Canadian. :)

Pardon the interruption Good Sir, but I just had to add my 4 cents worth ( inflation 😂) I can remember way back in the Pre 911 days of crossing the Peace Bridge from Buffalo to Fort Erie, Canada 🇨🇦. The purpose was to observe the “ Canadian Ballet “ up close & personal like. Back then $20.00 (U.S.) got you a private room a 3 dances 👍😜. God knows what the price is today, never mind crossing the border. Oh how the times have changed 😂 Slainte

In college, we used to road trip to Montreal - there was a district that had lots of great clubs like that
