We share a desk where she does her work from home meetings and conference calls, I do bills and whatnot at said desk. I've often gone thru her stuff looking for a receipt or bill that I had shown her but she always manages to lose or misplace.

I've always looked her notes and very neat handwriting of her minutes during the meetings and kinda wanted to find something to give me an indication that she's being ummm " naughty "?? A phone number, a non work address, whatever ......... but nope she's such a good girl and in the years ice never found any indication that she's ever done anything behind my back. I also know that's a good thing 🙂
 
Lucky the US embassy was open and we got emergency passports the next day, but we lost a half day and cost about $300. She had the passports because we hadn’t checked into the hotel yet.
Going to Spain next month. Heard it may be just as bad there…

I'm sorry to hear this but I appreciate you telling us the rest of the story since I was about to ask what the hell did you do next?!?

That's great that the US Embassy was able to assist right away without the usual hassle. Half day and $300 lost isn't that bad since it could had always been worse?!

I remember my wife and I getting to our hotel in Rome early on our honeymoon and I was so afraid of carrying our items like this for a quick lunch but nothing happened.

Good luck in Spain and just be extra cautious. Anything like this can happen anywhere tbh. We and visitors from the Philippines a few weeks ago and when we took them into Manhattan for the NYC touristy thing ...... I made sure they were extra cautious for the obvious reasons.

Had the same experience not to long ago stiv837. She also admitted she's talked to her old boyfriend, the one I heard her with a cpl times. Really bad breakup with him a week before a big party she had to go to. Lucked out she needed a date, and I was there
