Pardon me while I boast...
but I do not have periods anymore (post menopausal); but when I did, it was just a personal perference of my partner. I have had relationships with several men who did not care if you were on the rag or not.
Like has been said, previously, it pays to be careful now days and make sure you and your partner is STD free. There is a lot of information available on the web now about the relationship between unprotected oral sex and STDs. I would suggest reading up on the subject and discuss it with your partner before making a decision about it. Informed choices are always better ones.
