Mental Health of subs and the Rights of Doms

everyone into real BDSM needs professional psych help...so you are on the right track...
 
This makes me curious, has anyone ever had a therapist try to cure them of bdsm?

My therapist knows I'm sub, and feels it can actually be a very healthy way for me to interact in relationships. She supports me as long as it's a safe, sane, consentual relationship that makes me happy, involves good communication, and my boundaries are respected. ;)

My lover and I did some counselling around the issue, yes. But the counsellor never mentioned "curing" me of BDSM. Rather, it was simply an acknowledgement of who I am, and how we could work to include that.
