That's true, I did, didn't I? It's going to be too damned hot this weekend, especially Friday. If the weather holds, it's gonna be almost 100 degrees! I run hot as it is, so I'm wearing as little as possible or I might melt!

MmMm last weekend I made up mint ice cream with fresh mint and a dark chocolate sauce to go over top. Definitely making this one again! And thank the gods it's finally cooling off! It's going to be 70 for a high tomorrow. *Little happy dance*

I really need to stop reading your posts about ice cream, fuzzyface, until I’ve had something good to eat. Now I’m thinking that ice cream for brunch would be within the acceptable range.

Have to get through one more week of work and then I’ll be laying on the beach for a week. Hope you guys are staying cool.

Have fun at the beach!! It's finally cooled down here somewhat, thank the gods; I run too hot of an internal temperature naturally to be totally comfortable all the time when it gets too hot!

I'm actively avoiding all attempts to drag me back into leadership roles. Too much of my soul was being siphoned. Well that and I was tired of making the decisions all the time.

The elf wanders in and flops on the couch rubbing sleep from his eyes. Had he really smelled her perfume. Had angel really been here? He hoped so, real life had stolen him for so long that he hadn’t even realized she’d been gone for so long until after he had added to their story. But maybe it was a good thing, he enjoyed writing it and now she was back. She was a bit silly wondering if she had been replaced in the story. That story had waited 3 years to be written in the first pllace and then had been told for 3 years, he’d wait for her for it, knowing she’d post when she could just as she had waited for him. That’s what friends did, right?

Now the question still remained, sleep, or be awake.

*dashes in with arms full of trays and packages, mumbling to herself of things to be accomplished that day*

Restock fridge with healthy and not so healthy snacks. Check.
Put fresh flowers out. Check.

*spins to look at the bottles behind the bar*

Check liquor supply. Che..... oh dear, need more tequila.

*rummages in her pockets until she finds an old receipt she can write on and jots down what she’ll want to pick up later. Checking her watch, she sighs and starts tidying up the bags she had been carting supplies in.*

Gotta go get ready for church. Is the only way I can retain my halo.

I keep my halo in a box in the closet, just in case I need it, and so it doesn't get all dusty and stuff.

So verra glad that today is my version of a Friday even if I’m only home tomorrow to wait for service visits. Has been a majorly draining week!

And now to try to dust off a story and see if I can get a poor elf out of harms’ way.

I’m currently without heat in most of my house (you know it’s bad when it feels warmer at the ice rink you were in than when you get home). New system gets installed on Monday, but for now it’s triple layers and lots of blankets.
