And in the meantime, looks like I get some time to sketch up some responses (if the clanging and banging don't offer too much of a distraction).

Those first few posts are the hardest, my brain convinces me that I cannot write anymore.

Happy flippin’ Saturday... stuck at home while waiting for service call. And of course they can’t even give me a four hour window so I can’t make any real plans for the day.

Oh well perhaps I can get some work done on my office that’s become the dumping grounds for things we’re looking to donate.

So far so good, Angel....they've got us doing daily temp checks at work now, and since I work in a retail setting there's talk of limiting the amount of customers coming in at a time. No huge rise in cases of this damn virus, but we're over 20 now for the county. I'm keeping a close eye on the numbers, and if they start to spike, I'm outta there, isolating on my 100 acres, putting up 'No Trespassing' signs, brushing up on my marksmanship, and not coming out 'till this whole thing is over!

I know I shouldn’t complain when so many people are not able to work at the moment, but sometimes it really sucks being considered essential. Most of the people on my team are in quarantine which means I’m covering for more than just my job. I really have to learn to say no.

I'm off work through the 13th of May....work a block away from a place with an outbreak, they offered a 30 day leave if us employees felt we needed it, and....

Lucky duck, I mean wolf. I’m feeling the effects of covering for too many people. Will probably be a complete bum this weekend (thanks to rain keeping me from yard work), but I really need the down time.

Hey there Angel! A lazy weekend sounds like a wonderful thing! I don't mind the break from work at all. Gives me time to catch up on all kinds of things at home! Being on 100 acres, there's a lot of yard work to be done now that spring is almost here!

Am okay. Going to get in a workout in a bit with my daughter, but then will be parking it on the couch to get some quality Lit time in. Of course that means trying to ignore my son as he and his friends take on different campaigns on the Xbox, but I’m going to try.

Ahhhh, nothing like a quiet house when teenagers are still being cave trolls. Apparently there was too much family time yesterday. I'll give them a little more time before I start banging pots and slamming cupboards to get them moving, but for now... sheer bliss of quiet (well with the exception of my fingers hitting the keyboard).

Update: Annnnnnnd just like that, the din begins. The quiet was good while it lasted.

Oy, what a night, and what a long, long day! Didn't fall asleep 'till three, and up at 7:30 with plenty to do, even if I didn't leave the house except to do yard work. I am one tired wolf!
