Borrowed one today, but of course the temperatures will be going up this coming week (thank goodness!)

Oh, no! Here's to warmer nights! I hope you have hot chocolate or something hot available to help with the cold!

My version of a puppy pack with my kids while watching a movie last night. Today we have all the shades up on the bottom floor for radiant heat. That plus the space heater I’m borrowing has the house up to 64 degrees (a veritable heat wave compared to last night).

One more day of this to go and we should have heat (via the new system) by tomorrow evening!

64 is about where mine’s set at lol
Though I have steam heat so not sure it counts it’s probably not really that cold in here.

Installation started at 9:30am, or rather dismantling of the old system. Come on heat!

*pads once again to her favorite couch and plops down*

And in the meantime, looks like I get some time to sketch up some responses (if the clanging and banging don't offer too much of a distraction).

Oh I finally have a different schedule now where I work through the afternoon/early evening so I don't have to be a total vampire anymore. I can see the sun again!!

Yes indeed. Vampires are sexy n' all, but I'm more (were)wolf than vampire. I need to see the sun to be able to feel alive!

Totally understand that. Got word this morning that my wings are clipped thanks to the latest virus so looks like I won't be traveling as much for awhile. Will actually be nice in a way, but is going to suck trying to coordinate with the guys remotely. They are sooooo much easier to manage when they can't hide from me in person.

Oh, I get that! I'm privvy to a group of people that are part of the mink (fur) industry, and oye has it been tough. Oversupply, less demand, spreading mink-specific virus that's decimating the best quality mink, and now this latest human one right in the middle of one of the biggest fur consumers in the world. Gahhh!

Eh, c'est la vie. It was always kind of a niche industry, and it'll go on. Biggest things I'm focused on is the fact I sorta feel like I'm back from the dead, my taxes are done, the days are getting longer, and I might have a full three day weekend at the end of the month!

You go, you. I was actually planning on doing my taxes today, but I need all the banging and clanging to cease so that I can focus on them.

Three day weekend sounds good if you can do something fun.

Annnnnnd I finally got one post out of the way, and can turn my attention to Glad's. Banging and clanging is still too much for me to do my taxes.... yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
