I’m late to the ball, but then what else is new. I’ve been dealing with a family with flu or some other respiratory complaint two of us on antibiotics, my son as a precaution and me with an infected lung.
I lost track that we are in the middle of Hanukkah. I know that all are not strict Kosher. I lived next door to a Jewish mamma. She was not but her daughter in law was the full Monty. We held a door key as emergency access as the old girl was always having need of a doctor, and our agreement was to check on her daily. If she was in need of hospital or worse an undertaker, our first job was to clear her cupboards and fridge of illegal foods such as bacon and pork pies that she loved, then and only then, phone her son.
