My current BDSM situation.

Since when is "here are things which I fantasize about" translated automatically to "here's what I'm doing with my date next week?"

I didn't think it was a laundry list for a scene. Maybe I have too much faith in people to not be total imbeciles.

Right.

This is the problem.

Exactly, I need to turn this fantasy into a reality.

Real life practice.

"I know how to make a woman cum, I've watched porn movies!"

Yeah. Right.

Real life practice, yes. Like stated above.

I mainly read about it, I don't watch much porn.

A very good advice. Everyone knows that the best vehicle to learn driving is a hazardous materials truck.

I was going to take just baby steps. That list I made is more of what I am interested in, not what I am going to do right away.

Yes, you are right, it's not rocket science. It's just another human.

Like I said, baby steps.

"Use common sense." did you write - read his first post, where the fuck is the common sense there? What you see as the enthusiastic expression of an excited BDSM starter, I see as a guy who is about to cross the line of common sense and needs to be brought back down to earth. Nobody said that he should stay there, nobody denied him to explore his BDSM nature, nobody discouraged him of meeting the girl, so you can stop your whining.

I will use common sense when doing this stuff. I am not going to immediately engage in hardcore suffocation and don't really go for the beating/sadistic side of BDSM all that much. I am more towards the fetishistic side such as collaring and dress-up. That at least what I am INTERESTED in, I cant know for sure unless I actually give this stuff a try.

The only problem people are "whining" about is your tone. You can "bring me down to earth" and give me good advice without being rude or disrespectful. Its when you are rude and disrespectful to a complete stranger that people get offended and feel that your advice may also be an attempt at being even more offensive...this little snippet comes to mind:

in 5 years, you can come back

Maybe you were being serious, maybe you were exaggerating. I took it as "gtfo" and many other people think your just being rude.

In my experiences, telling a rude person that they are rude usually makes them more rude. And, rude people like the reaction they get when someone is offended. And, since it takes more than one person to have a fight, the more mature folks learn to ignore stuff that isn't worth getting upset about.

While others like me simply get tired of the WHINING, especially if it is somebody whining about the whining of others.

Great post!
