Fantastic idea and perfectly modeled presentation

Thank you. :cattail:

I wore it out to a “Literary Hero” themed burlesque show recently, too!

With the upcoming season around the corner, here are a few of my favorites that I've done over the years. I am a bit obsessed with pumpkin carving.

That is really impressive!

I am lucky if I can get what I carve to look like a face!

A good likeness.

I’m still laughing at the making of that. Looks good on you.

Wow, intricate.

I made a thing tonight after a discussion with a good friend about what to do about a problem I’ve been having. Sometimes, being creative like this is the best way to conquer a problem.

I don't know how I missed this earlier. Great project and great video. I could watch you put that on all day lol.

Thank you. :cattail:

Hester Prynne never looked so good.

That is a great painting. You really caught Bogie's essence. The left side even looks vaguely like cigarette smoke. Nice.

A good likeness.

Thanks for the feedback. Fortunately for me I painted him for someone else, but during our split, I was able to keep him :) I am glad that I did because it is one of my favorites.

Glad that you were able to recover him in the split.

I still regret not getting a sweatshirt back in college (I just wanted to be as far away from her as possible as quickly as possible so I told her 'hang on to it.')

I do not think that I have anything as creative as your painting as a memento of a relationship.

Except maybe this:
(Bought it while out with a girl, but I do not think that it counts)

That's a shame about the sweatshirt. I have a few favorites from college as well. Is that a painting of Chicago? I lived there for many years and that scene brings back memories.

Yes.

At least I am pretty certain that it is. I bought it at a bar in Wicker Park; my best guess is that it is a view of the rail yard south of Union Station.

At least that is what I see...

That’s a mark of knowing I did something right with it...

Haha! Glad you enjoyed it, TAN. It was a very liberating experience.

Thanks, Ruby! Your compliment means so much coming from someone so creative.

This year there are wolves and bears in our play.
I give you layer one...wolf. There will be 'fur' and paint added on top of this...but I always love this stage.
