Need feedback on this idea...

[*]I didn't look for it, but there was a thread (in the Ah, I believe) on story reviews. Authors took turns reading/reviewing stories each week. Your idea reminds me of that thread, which hasn't been very successful from what I remember.

Actually, it was for a while. The reviews were near daily and numerous from May of 2006 to May of 2007. It required a solid core of regular reviewers willing to stick with it, though. Once that core began to break down for various reasons, nobody was ever able to assemble another.

Right. I began posting in Feb. 2007, so I came in at the end of that year. I remember attempts to bring it back over the years, but nothing that succeeded.

I saw that the thread is not a sticky. I think maybe you should make it a sticky to prevent other threads from bumping it down. That's all I have to say.

If it gets enough traffic (meaning there's enough interest), it won't fall off the page.

Same thing for the Story Advertisement thread here then, isn't it?

It has been here since 2003 and given the post rate there, it's likely to fall of the page very quickly and eventually archived. I'll hope that readers, old and new, will post stories like they did here, when something catches their eye.
