Hi FF and all, I was wondering if anyone had some good suggestions for books to start with about bdsm in general as well as bondage/domination and submission? thanks so much! Penelope
Welcome Penelopeanne
Do you want fiction, non fiction or both?
FF
Jay Wiseman's "SM 101: A Realistic Introduction" is a good book for n00bs. YOu can get it on Amazon, or even the local B&N has it here.
hi ff, everything! thanks!!

My fav non read fiction is: Screw the Roses, Send Me the Thorns by Miller & Devon.
If you'd like to join us in the BDSM Book Club, we'd love to have you. Also you can read some thoughts on each of the books we've had since 2006, we've read 68 books so far.

FF, thank you soooooooooooo much!! this is exactly what i am looking for... i will certainly check out the book club as well.... muah! Penelope
I follow directions, mostly, so I am introducing myself
I am newish to the bdsm lifestyle, and am eagerly, and sometimes impatiently, learning. I can confidently say that with men I tremendously enjoy being submissive. I have yet to get to explore bdsm with women, but already know how much I enjoy them and look forward to getting to explore those fantasies too.
Some days I feel like I should just describe myself as a newly single mom, since it seems to elicit quick understanding in so many people these days. Besides working and spending time with my son, I like to go play outside - hiking, camping, swimming, etc. Inside I try to do crafty stuff but often get interrupted and/or distracted. I don't have the need to go out and party, but when the opportunity arises, I make the most out of it. Oh, I also like to play board games and cards and would love to see how a D/s game of cards would end up...
