Hi, I've been kind of hanging around Lit for a few years now, secretly indulging a passion for erotica. Lately, I've had all these stories swarming around my head that need some help getting onto the paper. So, I thought I would join up and take the plunge at short story writing. I'm going back to school next year, to major in English, so hopefully, my writing abilities will improve with age, if ya know what I mean.
Um, what else? I'm 28, single (no cybering), a massage therapist and an energy worker. I like knitting, sci-fi, and British comedy.

I'm a freshly-18 high school senior, and have been a fan of erotic literature for quite some time. I found literotica through a link on ASSTR, my old mainstay, and was instantly hooked. So, since I might get into writing short stories soon and so as to express my gratitude to the authors I admire, as well as to participate in some of the discussion on the site (I'm young, but not naive), I thought I'd join the ranks.
In case you were wondering, I'm male, somewhat bisexual, 5'11, skinny, a musician, and would deeply appreciate a PM or two.

Hello everyone! I thought it was time to intro myself since I have been a lit reader and forum voyeur for years. I cant tell you how many times I have cum with you all..

A college student's introduction
I posted an introduction on another thread but since this seems to be the "official" thread I figured I'd post here as well. I have red hair, green eyes, am 5'6" and pretty skinny excpet for certain (top and bottom) assests. I am a 22 year old college student majoring in psychology/pre-med. In my spare time I love cooking, surfing the net, hanging out with my friends, going to museums and the beach. I've enjoyed reading various types of erotica for awhile. I'm particularly interested in older men, being dominated (but nothing too intense), and roleplaying. While those are the sexual interests I know about I'm willing to explore some other things with the right person. Because I've read several stories here and many (if not most) do not seem to have a conflict - internal or external
It just seems to keep going

Newbie with a question
hi everyone,
I just posted here about 2 weeks ago and I have some questions about how things work here.
I notice I get a nice amount of hits but very few votes and the only comments I have are from friends I've told about my posts.
I assume its that I don't get into the hot and heavy right away so most click off and those that did vote prefer not to comment. and that's ok too, I'm just curious about it.
I also have noticed some votes disappear.
one day I had 28 and the next only 26. where did the vote go?
is that when a member deletes a profile all their votes are removed?
lastly, what's the best way to promote my work here?
