I can do that but in the past, when we gave feedback (well many of us) would mention that the poem was being recommended on the forum and provide a link. Often, people don't even realize that there is a forum at Lit, let alone a poetry one. So if anyone reads poetry in new poems and thinks, "oh that person should come to the forum," just invite them as part of your feedback! I love it when we get new, exciting writers here. It's good for all of us to have fresh voices coming in.

I couldn't agree more. I was struck quite a bit by what all this short work could be saying; with very few words it managed to cause an immense array of imagery to leap into my mind. I'm very glad greenmountaineer recommended it, and I would say it's definitely a poem that should be read and carefully considered for all that it could be implying. Perhaps it's just me, but I think the simplicity of this one and the possible scope of it make it poem that should be checked out given some thought, to say the least.

Ash is indeed lovely, especially for a poem referring to BDSM - in my experience here, the have tended to go easily over the top.
