Happy 4th of July Carolina!
Kitchen is back open.
For the holiday there is,
Strawberry pancakes
Blueberry pancakes (berries from my very own bush)
Vanilla pancakes
Real Maple syrup Grade C (sent by a Yankee admirer but we will overlook that)
Sausage link and patty
Y'all know where the coffee and Sweet Tea is kept.
Celebrate Safely

Is surprisingly coolish in my section of state so let's use the oven.
Breakfast is...
Bacon-egg-cheese casserole
Hashbrown casserole (yup stole recipe from Cracker Barrel )
Cinnamon rolls (yes from a tube but dang everything else is scratch)
thats on that will fit in the cooker.
Make it a great day in Carolina

Since there is HashBrown Casserole left over lets pull that outta the icebox
reheat and add some eggs in the basket to round our breakfast.
(thats an over easy surrounded by thick slice of toast for the unknowing)
For those in Elsa's possible path, prepare and take care. Now is the time.
Don't make the Front Line workers job harder than must needs be.

Good Early Morning Carolina
Early day for me so no cooking so instead....
"Hot and Now" sign lit at the Krispy Kreme.
Leaving 2 boxes of still warm glazed and a box of assorted doughnuts.
Coffee and cream from the Biltmore dairies.

I ain't gonna need to make many.
I present Fried Bologna and Egg Sandwiches.
After years of practice, I know exactly where to cut the meat so it don't curl up and will watch close so no scorching. Will be using the thick slice variety can even add cheese if it makes Y'all grin and wipe your chin.
Wishing for a better day than yesterday for all.
(there may STILL be 1/2 box Krispy Kreme left )
