I had one that turned into a 3-year relationship. LOL It wasn't supposed to be, but we enjoyed each other a LOT.
Several years later I was in a reckless frame of mind. I tried a few one-nighters and they didn't do much of anything for me. It was decent vanilla sex but that's all it was. I've had exactly one one-night stand, but he became my partner so not sure if it counts,
.I have never been asked the "How Many" question and have never asked it myself. Perhaps it's because all my serious LT partners have been significantly older. Younger people, both men and women, seem to be more concerned with numbers than older people (personal opinion).
I think it's completely irrelevant information. Sexually, you and I are here in the present, the past should not matter. If it's a matter of health concerns, get tested before doing the naughty. To ask that question reeks of insecurity to me. Just saying,

I reserve one night stands for the guys I know about, but don't really like. The guy you have heard is hung and really good with it, but a real asshole. You drink a little, and you fuck him to check it out, then you either forget him, or go back cause he is really good, then he becomes a fuck buddy not a one night stand.

I liked reading this thread. I have had many one night stands and several relationships. They (those stands) can be very hot, and very memorable in some cases, but for me they are no substitute for a relationship.
