OOC for "the River Runs Red"

LOL @ Kane You're under the impression a ringing phone would stop Lana :p

I haven't read your post yet Yeishia but I do want to know what you meant, in detail please, what Shay will see going into hell. I dont mind her 'seeing' the last recent visit in which she aquired the two familiars back. However the visit where she saved Talon isn't peepable yet, not until someone runs into the killer for a little bit of time. The identity of the killer isn't going to be revealed by visions, tattling satans or mind reading just so everyone knows :) It will take someone coming face to face with him to recognize him as almost identical to Talon and LIVING to tell the tale to another.

I dont think anyone had scrying on thier list of witch things but if someone wants glimpses of the actual killer they can PM BB to discuss that. Can work out how something of his is discovered or given over by possibly Hades to 'fuel the fire' in which to try and spy on the madman, that is if you hadn't been around the dead or dying from the murder scene. This help Yeishia? :) Im going to go read now!

Thanks sweet I pm..ed you as you now know:D ( B.B.too)

I was thinking she saw the last Hades visit only cats and baby knowledge!

Anyway now you know my alternate plan:devil:

Thanks for the help xoxoxo

Sorry Sweet I'll post a response as soon as I can come up with something unlame.

mmm.... I think Maya has seen what the killer's demon form looks like.... Also from what I've plotted with Sky so far, it seems she's caught a good glimpse of the demon form as well... is that okay?

Depends I guess. Could work it that the demon form she seen was his 'soul' in a way. He is one sick bastard so I imagine he would look very ugly.

when he is out and about he looks human, just like Lana, talon etc. I left it to BB to create the skills for the killer, I dont see why he couldnt manipulate both halves of himself? Can discuss further

hmmmm......Jack is......still sitting in his car. Hurry up and finish fucking.

I have just posted in the IC

I have stopped my post at this point in order to seek your approval before I continue....specifically that of sweet P.:)

I can change direction if need be!

The result of Shay's spell is that she will gain knowledge. She will see what Lana saw when she traveled to Hell.

She will gain the answers to both of her questions. Wether she will meet Hades ..hmmm not sure.

When she returns I am thinking she will leave the sanctuary return to the hotel and go looking for the Killer, maybe hoping that when she gets her trial finally she will have some answers for Talon.....maybe bumping into Harrison during her investigations.

I am not really sure.

I do have another idea that is the opposite of that instead of helping catch the killer.....I will pm you with my thoughts BB

Since my character had been isolated in her room I have bee wrecking my brains wondering how to fit her into this thread, and not to step onto someones toes in the process, given that I am not privy to the behind the scenes planning.

Your input would be most welcome:rose::heart::rose:

It's a huge idea and a wonderful, twisted one as well Y, I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the pros and cons of it all:eek:

If Shay decides to side with evil she'll ally herself with our friendly neighborhood killer and in my thinking help him find what he's looking for... he does have a very specific agenda as well as several side lines... or does she have greater plans?

If she stays on the side of the righteous the knowledge she's gained will have to be carefully "exposed" or the plot will be quickly busted... kind of like a prematurely ejaculated final chapter if you get my drift?

Now meeting the killer and creating some sort of alliance between them might be another venue as well... the sadist and the masochist sort of thing?

Endless possibilities and tons of plots and subplots....that's for sure

As promised, here is a brief outline on Sky and Talon's history. (B if I managed to get anything wrong, please let me know and I'll amend)

Talon and Sky:

When Talon first came to the area now called Haven, it was as a hired mercenary, a killer of the highest rank. He was there simply to earn his keep ... not that he was pure evil simply the best at what he did. Talon had sided with the immortals as they were the highest paying.

Sky and Talon met by accident. Talon was out completing one of his ‘assignments’ and just happened to save Sky from a gruesome death. Talon was fascinated with Sky as she was his exact opposite, and that fascination kept her alive as others saw his interest in her and after seeing his killing skills decided not to bother her. Talon and Sky kept a low profile though, because of the underlying rivalry between humans and immortals. The two managed to get to know each other and carefully avoided the topic, keeping their feelings for each other hidden beneath the surface.

Talon proves to be a huge moral dilemma for Sky. She knows what he does for a living and can not justify it in her mind, nor can she deny her feelings for him. In a desperate attempt to place distance between them and to forget Talon, Sky accepts a position in the UK as a governess to a wealthy nobleman (this is around the year 1160).

The grass is however not any greener on the other side. The nobleman notices his latest 'employee' and forces himself on Sky. She falls pregnant and he of course does his best to hide the fact and avoid a scandal. There are complications during birth but Sky’s son is born into the world under very bizarre circumstances. The nobleman’s wife could not bare a son for him and he was in need of an heir, thinking it convenient to pass Sky's son off as his legitimate son ... leaving her to die.

The immortal world once again intervenes by means of a vampire who finds Sky, dumped alongside the river Thames and left to die. He recognises Sky and decides to turn her as a means to spite Talon. He justifies his actions as doing Talon a 'favour', which Sky till this day does not know.

Once Sky is turned, she goes back and kills the nobleman in a fit of rage along with his entire family to get her Son back. Sky attempts to take care of the baby, but it becomes crystal clear very fast that she is not capable of looking after a human baby. The fact that she hibernates during the day left the child alone. Her Son will not survive unless Sky gives him up ... which she does out of desperation and a great deal of emotional torment.

She follows her Son through life, and his children ... and their children. Her descendents eventually find their way back to US soil and ironically make their way back to Haven where Sky crosses paths with Talon once more. He is surprised to find her alive after so many years, both astonished to find the feelings between them still lingering strong. Talon’s life is however very complicated at this point with Lana and Lilly in the picture. Sky chose to keep her distance.

It was turbulent times in the history of Haven and Sky had her hands full trying to keep her descendents alive. Haven was officially created the year of the war: 1609. It heralded the point where Talon refused to kill any more and took the life (and head) of the then current Leader. It was also the time that marked Talon’s death. He died voluntarily in an attempt to save the one person he loved and that sacrifice failed miserably... his return to life being the turning point in an otherwise violent and bloody past.

Present day: Sky’s only living descendent is a 19 year old girl called Gabriella. No one knows about her. Gabriella is a secret that Sky will guard with her life. Gabriella is a student at Sky’s school and was granted the opportunity to attend by means of an 'anonymous' bursary to the school. Gabriella bares no knowledge of Sky’s relation to her. It's the main reason why Sky stays on the human side of the river and is also one of the reasons why she had kept Talon at arm's length ... until now.

I have not gone into any specific detail around the dynamic between Harrison, Lana and Sky although I am sure that Sky would have crossed paths with them somewhere along the line. I figured we can improvise as we go along.

There is quite an interesting subplot on the brew involving Gabriella. You will all just have to wait and see ;)

Yeah V pump yourself into Lana, you know she wants it.

Then let me have sloppy seconds ;)

I am thinking Shay will take the trip to hell and allow Hades to recruit her to aid “his son”

She will learn that her familiars were to be spies, but Hades will agree to return her total control once more over them. Shay will agree to sabotage the good side's plans in exchange for the Forbidden Fruit! ( We can work out exactly what that is later)

I will have Hades set her up in a small house in the human part of town where she is free from Talons immortal laws.

Hades will be giving her three things which she coverts: knowledge (perhaps a new Talent) acceptance and a Home. All are things that she has been searching for most of her young life.

That is as far as I will go for now in my next post., if this is acceptable?

I do like this idea.:)

Plan? Hmmm well we shall have to see:D

I am not adverse to this either.:)

I am willing to go in the direction which best helps the thread:rose:

I would rather leave the mind game angle up to Maya, this writer would be unable to justice to those:eek:.

I thank you VT., Sweet and BB for your help now and hopefully in the future:rose::rose::rose:

Don't worry inspiration struck while I was at work today, and I've come up with something that should give all 3 of us a thrill

Excellent V, it seems there has been a sudden explosion of inspirational juices with many of the writers, if nothing else it will be a great read as the drama explodes, errm, I mean unfolds;)

Okay I didn't read Kane's post close enough so my wicked idea didn't realy apply, (sorry, sorry, sorry) but I managed to edit and salvage the post.

Did I scare Kitten away...? 0.0 Was Maya being a bit too difficult?

sorry, Ive had a bit of a case of writers block on this thread, I didnt realy ever plan to have Isaac have a serious moment, my plan was for him to just do whatever seemed like would be fun, but now we've gone and thrown him in to a situation where he has to actualy think and be serious.

Not that its a bad thing that happened, I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing how this plays out, but I dont have the slightest clue of how it will right now
