ok, so we fast forward a bit and I'll try and create what our modern day city named "Haven" looks like.

Haven, year 2009

The climate is a near constant in Haven, the nights dropping to a chilly 50 degrees Fahrenheit and often mixed with rain, the days rising to the mid 80's and usually sunny. The northern side of the river spouts a few taller "sky scrapers" as the human population pushes closer to the 400,000 mark while the southern side is still smaller levels with a population in the 80,000 mark.

While there are slums and ghettos forming in the human side none of that is found on the immortal territory, the knowledge embedded in most non humans of the need to build structures that have to last and nothing is "disposable" giving them the drive to care for themselves and their surroundings.

"Old money" is also more apparent on the south side, the prosperity too often a cause for jealousy from the humans and yet the immortals continue to create businesses, invest their funds and care for the other like them ignoring those petty differences. You don't see as many auto's on the south side but the few on the streets are classics that speak of taste and wealth.

The ambition the immortals possess is a two edged blade, it guarantees wealth and worldly goods, but also carries a weight of responsibility, and at times draws the ire of the humans as they try to edge in on that wealth and prosperity... That ambition on the human side has created a crime wave that now threatens to spill over into the immortal side and start a war that would once again make the river run red...

Carnal Knowledge room (suites)

Third Floor has two halls of 12 rooms, and two halls of 8 rooms. The lab Lana works in has been moved to club level, far in the back past bathrooms and dance floor etc.

each end of the 8 room stretch has suites with space equal to two hotel rooms/ living quarters. (4 total for the corners)

No kitchenettes in the rooms. There's one downstairs in the basement if anyone is hungry. Humans are served on the club level if they choose to eat or on bed trays in their room from a cart (if they're brave enough to stay)

No windows in the brick build except for club entrance (treated windows), the penthouse level and Two suites on the street side have a balcony.

There is a queen bed in each room, wardrobe, tv, end table /w phone, two person size bathroom. (in the case of extra bed needed, there are fold aways brought in to make a smaller twin bed for roomies.)
