EDIT: I was waiting for BB's announcement of whether River was coming back or not. I do recall D being rather disappointed that River was ending, so she'll probably be back.

I need to go reread, and I don't have the time this weekend to do that, but I do remember that all the pieces were in place for Sky's death. Something along the lines of one more post from Talon and Sullivan can drop in and shoot followed by D's post of Sky's death.... something like that. I'm not sure. I need to go re read it.

I Pm'd everyone with the same message, and of the six who have replied, SIX have expressed interest in returning, our sweet Dee having a busy life but myself hoping it will slow down enough to let her join us at the suggested starting point.

That point you ask? How about August 12th (roughly)

The date set back far enough to let us use the OOC for our plotting, introducing new characters, and as a group deciding the direction of the thread. (Thank You Veroe)

This is a good chance to reweave the past of our characters into our fellow cowriters characters, but this time lets do it in this OOC, not (as I have sinned) in PM's where it might make others feel left out....

I'm leaning to using a different character than Harrison this time though if we pick up where we left off I would of course take him up again.

The plot from last time had alot going for it...maybe a redo of that one from step 1 is in order...oh yeah yeah its too early to talk plot right now, especially if we want to tie backstories of the characters together to generate that plot.

I will join again if Light Ice doesn't. In the original thread I took over his character when he had RL issues and could not continue. It is only fair that he gets first dibs on this old character back.

I've been dealing with a lot of RL issues and it's been difficult to keep writing. But I do understand what it's like to write a great group thread and have someone drop out and needing to be replace. So I hope to not put you guys through the same situation.

Thanks for the reply. Without you and with Dee being busy as well it leaves us with one woman and 4 to 5 men

SweetP is good, but it's not fair for us to expect her to be the sole female in this thread. That leaves me with the obvious solution of recruiting more females who can write on a regualr basis or waiting into the fall when life slows down for all of us.

Personally, I rather wait, Sweet, Dee and VT are superb, and tuned to what the thread was about

Dee and VT are great writers...and the prospect of having them absent from the thread is a huge bummer, but there are plenty of other fantastic female writers out there, BB.

Personally I'm more of the oppinion that waiting till fall would be a mistake to start it off again.


On another topic I think this time we should try to contain the thread to one location. For example using the last incarnation here, have it set in a hotel owned by Talon with Lana owning and operating a bar and small bottling operation within it. rather than having Talon's and Lana's the two cornerstones of the thread in two seperate locations setting it all in the same building should make the both of you more accessible to the others.

Oh and if you do Talon again I think as the central character you should put up his bio first but make it very light in detail the first time so we'll have plenty of places to weave our characters into it, and you can update it as we go.

The only downside I see to it is that it'll require you to be extarordinarily flexible, BB.

All good points, being under one roof can be a good thing and a bad (for example) the gun shots fired off when the cats were killed and the deabteif and how many heard them....

Seperate buildings or quarters create distance, yes, but also allow peeps to move from area to area, enhancing the effect and reinforncing the idea of being in another place....

Central character... been thinking about that too Talon was a dominating figure and when he stalled it seemed he slowed or stopped the thread, so.... perhaps someone else wants him and I play the evil killer out? You'd make a great Vampire, I think... yes?

It's still all up in the air though, we need to step by step agree on the changes as a group if we're to continue the original, or if we decide to strat fresh... *sigh*
