I just came across your drawings today and I wanted to say they are really amazing and I look forward to seeing more. Your attention to detail is great and the work you do is truly art.

Old drawing buried in a thread I can't find

Hey Sal...

The first Keynote presentation I exported to Quicktime couldn't be viewed by some windows users. And converting the keynote presentation to powerpoint then to Quicktime, which is more windows compatible, lost a whole lot in the translation. Keynote is way more capable and compatible with photoshop than powerpoint is, not to mention that it allows much more animation and transition capabilities and once you set a soundtrack it guides you in setting transitions to come close to the soundtrack timing without having to test it with every slide. powerpoint makes me loop the soundtrack on every slide and if you have an older version the sound skips....

yep, having fun until I get my newer stuff clean and ready to share...

Fun!

I don't think you need so many different transitions. I feel it is just distracting. Let your work be the focus!

Well throbbs, as I learn and explore the software I know I'll engage in overkill. Betcha it'll happen again too as I test what's possible. Right now I'm more interested in who can and can't view the (dot) .mov file. Since I am now working almost exclusively in mac, I'd be a snotty member if I only posted mac if winows readers can't see it compatible content.

Forgive the transition over kill until I've had a chance to exercise new skills and test the software...

heck compare these two drawings from my evolution in these arts ...

I''m a perfectionist, no question, but I'm no internet or software expert... if I waited until I could be perfect all around, I'd still be invisible and terrified to even venture here... would that be your preference?

I think it rocks that you are sharing your work.

I think that (the animation) is a great way to present images.
Glad to see that you are exploring further.

I have admired your work for a long time Patty and this presentation is tremendous! Congratulations on your achievement,

It is cool isn't it. Folks like my art enough to put it on paddles and out there in the world there are needy bottoms getting 'patty-whacked.' It just makes me smile...

so that's a nick-nack patty wack?:D
giving some guy a bone.

well, this old man is staying home.

A bone?

LOLOLOL I'd forgotten all the words and never thought of that change in the lyrics ... "Smack, swat, patty whack, give a top a bone(r)"

Staying home is just fine... just don't let bone deprivation be a cnsequence of that choice. :rose:
