The one during Zeta?
No, there's a scene at the end of both of their playthroughs in DWG. One ends with Haman completely annihilating him with bits, the other ends with him dropping a large section of space colony on her and climbing out of the wreckage.
Ah ok.
Reminds me of the way 1 ended with Char.
If you play Amuro you come across the remains of Char's Gelgoog.
In Char's ending you see that he took the Hyaki shiki and heads off towards the Argama very Zeta Gundam-ish heh
*nods* I still have to beat several of the Original Storyline sets.
You need to get a xbox 360 and a copy of 3 so we can play!
Ohhh mecha thread.
I am not a big gundam suit guy... my idea of Mecha is from... Robotech.
Or Martian Successor Nadesico
And most of all... Full Metal Panic!!! I love those Arm Slaves
What makes Robotech and Gundam so different?
Don't know, never watch gudam enough to see.
What makes Robotech and Gundam so different?
What makes Robotech and Gundam so different?
technically: Robotech has mecha that transforms from fighter planes, hover tanks, motor bikes, gives it a real world military feel to it.
Gundam has straight up giant robots called mobile suits that walk and carry gigantic weapons like soldiers would carry a M-16. They also have had a couple Gundams that transform into planes too, but those are fairly unique in the many iterations of Gundam.
Realistically: Robotech and Gundam deal with virtually the same subject matter...War, the coming of age of a young man, And whether a true state of a lasting peace can ever be attainable by the human race. Now there's a ton of difference in how both franchises addresses these themes.
Veritechs are mass produced transformable vehicles built based upon reverse engineered alien technology. Gundams are the culmination of mankind's attempts to bring a more...personal touch back into large scale warfare (the idea being it's harder to kill if your target looks more human)
I was going to bring up the transforming Gundams. Yeah, the plot executions seem to be the only real separation for me.
Which one would you prefer? Robotech or Gundam?
Why do you ask a question you already know the answer to?Which one would you prefer? Robotech or Gundam?
Hear HearGundam is my personal pick between the two.
Heh. With me, Gundam was my first anime of any kind.I remember waking up to watch robotech, grew up on it. So of course it would be that.
Me I like the storytelling of Gundam more but like the practicality of Robotech's mecha designs more than the gundams' designs.
I could go with either.
