When you check to see if your stories have posted, do you look at your submissions page or actually open the story?

Because (as CM said) if you open the story each time you check it's as if you are submitting it for the first time (thus adding to the length of time you have to wait for it to post).

Some people purposefully do that when they need to edit a story after submitting. When they click on "Save Changes" it gets the process started.

If you haven't PM'd Laurel you really should. PM, not email. She can easily check the situation from her end.

Damn straight, sweetsub, especially if they've been overcooked.

Naah, overcooked doesn't matter as long as they're juicy and haven't lost their flavor. Nothing's as miserable as undercooked fowl.

I hadn't known that about viewing the submissions delaying them. I submitted that long story I'd mentioned a while back over the weekend, and as usual, I've been on tenterhooks waiting for it to come out.
