Photography: Post your photos here

I have to. The D200 will not work with a remote.
No infrared My old camera did. I don't mind the cable anyways. I am kind of still old school.

There's a good third party remote you can get, by a company called SMDV, it's more expensive than the cable release, but it's a radio signal, not infrared. It's quite reliable.

Cable releases work just fine though. I use one as well. I've got both cable and infrared remote for my camera.

I remember reading about that. But decided to go the cheap route first. I have so much old camera equipment laying around. It pains me to have to buy more.
I was able to get my old lenses to work with the new D200. No auto focus or programed modes. But the rest works
fine. Very pleased about that.

aah, even though you like old school lenses you may want to check out the nikkor 18-105 VR its a great walk around and the price isnt that bad

I have used a simple spray bottle with some luck. Hi Tol...hope you are good.

Not the greatest actually, hurt my back and am home from work. Hope it's better soon, I really wanted to hike in the mountains this sunday.

I have been MIA for awhile, but am slowly getting into being back. While I was not here so much though, the wonderful man in my life decided as I don;t ask for anything, I should be rewarded so for my birthday he bought me a Canon 50D and a Tamron 90mm macro lens. LOL, then we seemed to be busy for a couple of weeks so I couldn't get to play with them, but I now have had a couple of hours playing and have to say I can see I am going to enjoy learning to get the best from them. Here are a couple of my experimental shots so far....

It is always good to have something with you to get shots...some might think it obsessive (not mentioning names:rolleyes::D), but it is the way to get some great shots.

I hear you...I've wanted one for nearly 35 years now and finally have it....it was not an easy decision which one to go for, but I am very happy with the Tamron 90mm and also have some great tips from other photographers on how to increase the magnification slightly or x5 times greater. Of course, I still have a wish list of cameras and lens, but 1 at a time. :)
