yeah i remember it being warm and humid in singapore - though as that was the end of my trip i was kind of used to it by then... have no photos to post from there, unfortuantely, as that was before i had a digital camera...

Nice shot!
I have ton of slides. That recently I have been thinking of getting a scanner and saving to my mac.
Years worth ugh. But still some good shots and quite a few trips I took.
I went digital a few years back. So much cheaper than film.
I am from the desert I didn't get used to it. I think
it would take me months for that.

The roses in my garden have been well-lit this year:-

?That beautiful dark red one is named "erotica" and it has a lovely scent, too.

I love pictures of flowers that are wet or dew covered.
Nice capyures.

I found this tree hiking and thought is was cool in a creepy way.
I blurred the background more to give it a surreal look.

I call it the goulie tree.

That is awesome.. in a creepy, "Sleepy Hallow" kinda way. It's like one of Dali's paintings in the real world. I wonder if fireflies rest in those holes at night.

A few more from today's hike:

All of them are just beautiful! I am so jealous! To have that so close by.
I had that when I lived int he Pacific North West, and the sea as well.
I miss it.
One day I will move back.

something different: instead of a landscape a little something from my balcony:

Very tasty looking. I haven't taken any shoots of food. Though I do love food.:D
Here is one I played with. I love to use the diffused glow filter in photoshop for the soft glowing effect,
but then didn't want to lose the texture of the building.

Love that shot! B/w and white is just so emotional.
And Infrared even better. I have played with infrared
with my film camera. Fun stuff.

Thanks! Yours is fantastic too, love the muted colours, works extremely well

beautiful photos, both of them! love the reflection and the whole composition of that picture with the mountain and the lake. reminds me a bit of that national park in the very north of chile (forgot the name)... and the picture with the house looks a bit like from an old film! very nice atmosphere!

a field on a summer afternoon, somewhere in sachsen-anhalt i think (passed it on a longer cycling tour, so not sure where exactly it was)

I have a feeling we aren't in Kansas anymore toto!
Way cool! love the dark clouds.
Mine was from a an old mining town. So the house was
built and used mid to late 1800s. It was freaking hot out
in the desert.

I took this one a while ago near where I live.
I love night shots. Darn grainy though sometimes.
It can add the feel of a shot, but sometimes not.
